Sent my son with a gift card as I’m on bedrest and in pain. The machine couldn’t read the gift card. It also wouldn’t read for another customer. Both were told with an attitude “I don’t know, try again tomorrow.”
I will not try tomorrow or any other day. The employees act like you’re disturbing them when you ask a question and when looking for something, I’m usually told “somewhere over there.” Back to Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods I go. Clearly, good service only comes with the higher end stores.
The white young lady at cashier is a recisum. She don't want help me find price and ask her manager come and said don't understand my English! Never back again!

If you’ve ever thought about doing a curbside pick up order from the Stop & Shop, just don’t. Save yourself the time, save yourself the aggravation, save yourself the waste of 20 minutes of your life.
I stopped doing pick up orders from Stop & Shop a long time ago because I kept getting food that was spoiled, and then I’d get all the way home before I realized it and then I had to call customer service to get a refund. And that’s a whole other long process. They also leave you waiting for so long when you go to actually pick up your order.
Today, I decided to give them another chance. It’s been months since I placed an order for curbside pick up, and today I remembered why I stopped. I sat in the parking lot for almost 20 minutes. I checked in on the app like you’re supposed to, and then I waited almost 10 minutes. So then I called them, and they acted like they had no idea that I was waiting outside, even though checking in on the app is supposed to notify them that you’re outside. After I spoke on the phone, it still took them another 10 minutes to bring my order outside. I only ordered $40 worth of food, not that much. Also, the only reason I don’t go in is because I usually have two kids with me and it’s a lot to handle meltdowns and tantrums in the store. At this point, you’re better off just not having whatever it is that you desperately need.
Never again.

I love to shop at stop and shop One thing I really don’t like is when you go to were the prepared food, the fried fish there’s one guy there that holds the fish when he see people waiting for it twice he did that to me but other than that I’m good shopping there.
Solid everyday grocery stop in the neighborhood! Stop & Shop is my usual go-to for quick shops, and this location delivers on the basics. Produce section is generally fresh – grabbed some nice avocados, berries, and veggies that lasted well through the week. The bakery has good options like fresh bagels and muffins in the morning, and their store-brand items (especially the organics and prepared foods) are surprisingly tasty and budget-friendly.
