  I tried to talk to customer service behind the counter at 8:12pm Saturday for rock salt. A rude employee stood near the register yelled at me, “ can’t you see the SIGN, CLOSE CLOSE, we closed.” I replied with neutral tone,” I wanna know if your store sell rock salt.” She looked at the opposite side of me, negatively answer, “no salt, no shovel, no salt shovel.” I quietly walk away. Stop&Shop owners, if you don’t treat your employees right, they will not treat your customers right. Idk what she has been through recently, but I don’t expect to be treated badly in a franchise store.

  When will this store permanently remove the homeless man always begging for money outside and now inside the entrance? Sputtering religious greetings doesn't make his conduct ok. It's annoying and harassing. ENOUGH!!

  Today must be the Valentine ticket special of 2026 in front of shop n stop main entrance police ticketing all this was happening in the time range of 1:00pm Saturday 2/14/26 Pinpoint security appears to be the new watch of this parking lot I've been coming here 17 years every Saturday around the same time and have never been bothered while I was sitting in the car dropping off a person or loading my car with groceries it does say fire zone no parking I can see it if you park the car and get out of it and go in the store that they bother you or give a ticket But if you're just dropping off a person who's elderly or disabled or even just waiting for them for 10 or 15 minutes while they run in and out your technically just standing there you're with the car not leaving it unsupervised I couldn't even help them put their groceries in today because the new security guard was harassing all that we're sitting in their cars waiting or dropping off people or even just loading their vehicles and I guess I have to word this right he was a person of color he was bothering every single person that was pulling up and dropping off people one man with New Jersey plates and a purple heart was just dropping his daughter off to pick up a circular that poor little old man got so frustrated I thought he was going to have a heart attack there I got to meet a lot of new people in this parking lot who are all heavily angry over this pinpoint security company stop n shop needs to look into this cuz I will no longer go in that parking lot anymore I'll go to the next parking lot over to ShopRite or the little Russian grocery store on Clark avenue this is going to be another mall parking lot that becomes abandoned in the future if pinpoint security doesn't get their act together with shop n stop Up date 2/15 I see pinpoint security parks 6 of their vehicles on a residential street New dorp plaza north and beach ave when they have more than enough parking in their own buildings lot six of these vehicles have been snowed in from the looks of it for weeks and not being moved taking up residential parking spots somebody should be calling to complain and give them tickets for parking work vehicles in a residential area on the street curious to see how they would feel about getting tickets for parking where they shouldn't be when they have more than enough of their own parking on their lot with six vehicles just sitting there for months the looks of it with all the trash around them

  Pinpoint security is guard over stop & shops entryway parking lot by giving out tickets with police this is definitely new and taking place on February 2026 2:17 pm in Tyson's plaza parking lot hylan boulevard Everyone that is stopping here to load up their car or drop off people especially most of them who look like they're disabled are being harassed by the security guard and police department with tickets doesn't even matter if you have the highest disabled parking permit they don't want to hear it I've been coming here for years and this is the last time I will be coming shopping in this parking lot I have the highest disabled parking permit you can get even a purple heart and they don't want to hear it stop and shop needs to do something about this or whoever hired them in this parking lot it's unbelievable you can't even pull up to put groceries in the car without getting a ticket or being forced to move to a parking spot especially when you're disabled don't know if it's just this new black guy that's the security guard or what but they are bothering everyone pulling up to the front entrance way to do drops offs or pickups they actually have a police car sitting here now taking down license plates giving out tickets

  2-14-2026 important to read especially about police and tickets in the parking lot specially by stop & shop entrance hylan boulevard due to the new security guard it drives around in the White and red car pinpoint security he is a white car with red lettering black guy driving they are connected to the police department cuz as I'm sitting here watching they are now contacting the police to come and give out tickets to people that are stopped or double parking putting the groceries in the car in front of stop & shop at the cement columns He no longer even let you pull up to put groceries in the car even for people that are disabled I've been coming here to stop n shop since 2003 every Saturday at the same time doing the same thing and now today Major change don't know if it's just that guy or if it's this new security but this is the last time I will be coming here or using this store or any in this parking lot I would probably wind up going to ShopRite in the next parking lot over Whoever this security company they hired is driving through this parking lot giving out tickets the stores of this parking lot really need to start talking to that company or they're not going to survive and this is going to become another dead Mall soon👎👎👎👎👎👎 The company of this security pinpoint is an ex retired police department person on New dorp Lane yet the reason why they have the connections to send police over here now all stop n shop shoppers should be fully aware of this they are now ticketing you while you're putting stuff in your vehicle if you're up at those cement columns loading the car doesn't matter if you have disability permits or not stop and shop really needs to look into this with this security company I doubt pinpoint security would do anything if somebody was breaking into a car or stealing the catalytic converters off a car or getting robbed or even stealing a car they would probably look the other way and run and hide that's really what the security of the parking lot is supposed to be there for not bothering people while they're putting groceries in their car or dropping off an elderly person
