  We visited Serena’s and while the food and atmosphere were good, we had a serious issue with service. A margarita and a mocktail were mixed up, and my pregnant friend unknowingly took a few sips of a drink with alcohol because it was served to her as a mocktail. The waiter apologized after checking, but nothing else was done, the drinks were not comped or remade, the manager did not apologize, and the same drinks were returned with the same straws, which was very concerning. Mistakes happen, but this situation was handled poorly and left a bad impression.

  Loved everything here. The food, the service, the atmosphere. Great place. We are from NJ and will be back again and again to hangout here. Good vibes.

  We hosted my son’s baptism celebration at Serena Bistro and had such a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the family-style packages were perfect. There was a wide variety of dishes and everything was a hit with our guests. The staff was amazing from start to finish. They were super attentive, helped us set up decorations, and were more than accommodating with all of our needs. They really made the whole process easy and stress-free, which meant a lot on such a special day. Highly recommend Serena Bistro for events or even just a great meal!

  Hosted my Birthday dinner here a few weeks ago after Serena was recommended by my cousin and I’m so glad i chose to host it here. First off the food and the amount they give you in the family style packages is over the top. The holiday drinks we had tried were delicious , the tall waiter i believe his name was Frank that took care of us was great , the rest of the staff were also very accommodating we had one guest with Gluten allergy and the manager and person who handled the food coming out was on top of this and made sure the guest with the allergy was aware what she could eat . We loved the music and the dancers such lovely vibe . Thank you again all my guests and i cannot wait to come back .

  Food was mediocre at best. Drinks were watered down and not premium liquor. We had a 7:00 reservation and they were rushing us the whole time. Staff was rude and constantly coming over to ask if we were finished and trying to take our plates away while we were still eating. At 8:45 they handed us the check and said we had to leave because they needed the table. Would not even let us order dessert. What kind of restaurant does that? Added a convenience fee to the bill, no idea what that was about. It wasn’t a tip, it wasn’t different price for cash or credit, that was separate. It was just a scam. This place is awful. They should have told us when we made the reservation there was a time limit. What a horrible experience, DO NOT RECOMMEND. So many excellent choices on Staten Island. Serena is not one of them, absolutely horrible!!!
