  “Dave & Buster’s Staten Island — Basically a Chol Hamoed Trip Waiting to Happen” If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if a beis medrash, an amusement park, and a minor level of controlled chaos had a child… welcome to Dave & Buster’s Staten Island. This place is electric. Lights flashing, screens everywhere, people screaming with joy (and occasional existential crisis when they lose 500 points in one shot) — it’s the kind of wholesome entertainment a bochur can appreciate without having to chap a shtech from the mashgiach. 🎮 The Games Whoever designed this place clearly knew what they were doing. You walk in thinking, “I’ll play one game and leave.” Next thing you know, you’re breaking personal records, saving digital cities from aliens, racing cars like you're late for Mincha, and trying to win tickets like your life depends on it. That basketball game? I’m not saying I’m ready for the NBA, but let’s just say the machine disagreed and gave me the lowest score of the night. Humbling. Moving. Character-building. 🕹 The Atmosphere It’s loud, it’s bright, it’s lively — basically like a wedding but without someone pushing you into a dance circle. Families, teenagers, couples, bochurim avoiding responsibility — everyone fits in. It’s the type of place where you can lose track of time and also forget every worry you had when you walked in. 🎟 Tickets & Prizes Winning tickets is one thing. Trying to choose a prize is another. You’ll stand there analyzing the options like it’s a sugya in Bava Basra: “Is the 4,000-ticket foam sword really worth more than the 3,800-ticket lava lamp? What’s the nafka mina?” You walk out proud, holding a prize worth approximately 86 cents, but in your heart? Priceless. 🚀 Overall Dave & Buster’s SI is the perfect spot for a night out with chevra, a family trip, or a responsible adult pretending to be responsible while playing air hockey for 40 minutes. Fun, energetic, clean, and full of games that make you feel like a champion even when you’re definitely not. Highly recommended — just load your card with more credits than you think you need. Trust me. It’s a mehalech.

  First time going to dave and buster for santa and 3 hr play free it was amazing thank you all to the staff they were awesome happy holidays

  I gotta give full credit to the singles bartender who was helping us - she is a five star. However to all the other servers (lack of), I walked to the bar to order my own food, and waited my own table. To management, place staff to support your bartender.
