    A couple of days ago at this Dunkin’, I was given a burnt bacon, egg, and cheese. It was hard and tasteless, so I had to throw it away, there was no hope despite the fact I was hungry. Today I showed a photo of it and the proof of purchase (in the dunkin app), and asked for a refund. At first, the woman at the register refused to give me a refund until I told her who gave me that sandwich, but of course I couldn’t say anything more than “some girl.” She kept pressuring me in a raised tone, completely ignoring that I was telling her I don’t remember, that at the time I hadn’t slept for two days, and that I usually visit at different times and different team members fulfill my orders. The woman at the register was speaking disrespectfully, raising her voice, interrupting, and not listening to me at all. On top of that, she was calling me “honey,” which sounded condescending and disgusting. She kept demanding that I say who gave me that sandwich. I gave her my phone again with the Dunkin’ app to show proof of purchase and told her they could retrieve the data from there and figure out who the employee was. Then she started saying that without a paper receipt there would be no refund. “Go and bring me the receipt”. I said that I never really had a receipt because I paid with the app and threw the sandwich away with the bag it was attached to. The app contains card data, time, location, what was ordered, and everything, so I don’t understand what her problem was. When I asked where the manager was, there was no manager. I asked for her name, she answered, “you don’t tell me anything, I won’t tell you anything.” I guess she didn’t want to be responsible for a customer service she provided. I asked another employee what her name was, but she told him not to say anything, and he said that he “doesn’t know her name.” I am deeply shocked that an employee who demonstrated this level of customer service is also judging other employees who are unable to understand that burnt food should not be sold to customers, and that the third employee who saw and heard everything covered them. This month I visited Dunkin’ 18 times, and it’s really time to stop. I don’t understand why I’m expected to be responsible for their internal investigation of who couldn’t properly toast a sandwich, while no one takes responsibility for bad food and terrible service. I’m concerned about this location now, because it feels like it’s run by a small group of children who haven’t learned how to take responsibilities yet, and it’s simply unsafe to deal with food in that conditions anymore.     This location used to be good before the pandemic, but after the pandemic, it went downhill. They take forever with your order, some of the food is missing and undercooked, and the coffee ALWAYS taste terrible. Some of the staff are also rude. I changed Dunkin’ locations and go to one a few minutes away.
