  Tried this spot a few days ago. Staff were extremely kind, patient and just a great vibe to be around. This is not really a spot to eat in, but it is clean, vibrant, and has good music. The empanadas were so/so. I had the jerk, supreme and the oxtail. The oxtail was the biggest disappointment. For $10, there should be nothing but oxtail in the empanada. It was mostly rice. Seasoned well, great flavor but not a great deal- felt like a money grab/ rip off. The supreme was ok, something was off to me….maybe the cheese. There was an odd taste, reminded me of a canned/processed cheese. The jerk was decent- sweet, tangy and spicy. I’m not used to jerk done this way, but I’m not mad at it. Overall, the quality doesn’t match the prices but I would try them out again when Im back in the area…..perhaps a burger or wings next time. I believe they are black owned, and I’d love to support. Seems to be a new shop, and they may need a little time to roll out some kinks. Big plus was the attitude of the staff, hard to find kind service workers these days…

  Omg these are the best! The flavors are one of a kind and taste so fresh! The chicken pasta pasta empanada was my favorite! We also tried the chicken parm and chopped cheese empanada. The chopped cheese one was okay, lacking the flavor of a deli chopped cheese. The wing, fry and drink combo is a great deal. They have steak fries!

  We had a takeaway order. Granted the food was a bit cold when we finally got to eat it but the oxtail & cheese empanadas was still tasty. The jerk chicken & normal chicken were not. The jerk chicken in particularly had no spice/ heat all. The dipping sauces were not good.

  The food it great! Especially the lamdchop empanada!!!! I love love loved it. Wuda never known about this place if my coworkers didn't put me on. Open and a great alternative to fast food at 4am
