  We had a great time sitting at the bar, and Tatiana made the night even better. She was welcoming, professional, and kept everything running smoothly from start to finish. Drinks were excellent, service was fast, and her attitude made the whole experience enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back.

  Frida’s always has such a fun and lively atmosphere. Evenings typically have live music or a mariachi band that walks around playing music for each individual table. The food tastes authentic, high quality. Walter was our waiter and he was beyond attentive, we never had an empty glass. Walter was very polite and he made our dinner extra special. Would highly recommend Frida’s to anyone looking for fun experience with good food! Ask for Walter!

  You will not find better food than this. We’ve repeatedly made our way back here and always found the service and food beyond comparison to other local spots. Their tacos, assorted steak dishes, and pollo mole are literally out of this world. Walter took care of us, was attentive, and checked in enough to make sure everything was delicious which it was. Definitely make your way to Fridas and come hungry

  Me and my boyfriend came here around 6:30 on a Saturday without a reservation! I expected it to be crowded and that we would have it wait, and even though it was, the hostess (very good and nice) sat us in the bar area right away! Our waiter, Vasquez, came over quickly to take our drink orders and was right on the money, very charismatic too! They gave us free chips and salsa, which was delicious and Vasquez took our orders quick too, giving us time to figure it out. I got the taco salad with chicken and some changes to it, and my boyfriend got the chicken quesadillas! Both came out quickly, and service was great as well! Constantly filling our waters and taking away unwanted plates! Our food came quick and was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is very cozy, with lights and music playing! There is also live music as well! It can get a bit loud, but nothing too crazy! We didn’t order dessert but everything seemed great! I definitely recommend coming here with anyone as it’s menu is vast and it’s such a welcoming experience!

  Went recently with a somewhat bigger group for a friend's birthday and our whole group pretty much agreed that the food was very good for the most part, but the service experience was not. The service wasn't overall terrible but there were multiple situations that left us all feeling like dissatisfied. Maybe we have a kinda high standard for service since most of us have spent years in the restaurant industry. We all discussed after so I have a pretty good overview of what went wrong with the experience from multiple perspectives including my own. So the host had originally made a reservation for 14 people but called early that day to ask if would be okay to increase to 15. He was told no problem that would be fine. When the hosts got there they saw that the table was set for 14 only and asked the server multiple times for the extra chair that we needed. Understandably the restaurant was busy, and not all the guests had arrived yet, but there seemed to be no urgency. They also requested multiple times for the cake to be taken because it was just sitting on the table. Since asking the server wasn't working. The guest of honor then went to the hostess and informed her that the reservation was supposed to be for 15 and we needed another chair. At this point all the guests had arrived and a guest was standing at the table for over 5 minutes, so she went up to the host again and pointed this out. Another chair was finally brought a couple minutes later. A customer standing at an improperly set table isn't acceptable. They knew the table was meant for 15 because the table had 15 settings, but they must have borrowed the chair for another walk in or reservation and not bothered to replace it. But over 5 requests to get the chair our party was meant to have is crazy. Drinks were very slow to come out and decent. One of our friends got a Pina colada with no straw and it took about 3 requests and 20 minutes for him to get one, while his drink was melting. Since service was fairly slow at first we requested to order our entrees at the same time as our apps since the table was only getting a couple. One girl told the server that and he said okay but let me double check the other sides apps, he then went to the other side and reconfirmed if anyone wanted apps because the other side of the table was getting and then left without taking orders. The food came out a little staggered, but it was a large group. The quality of food itself was very good and most of us were very happy with our meals. The service was slightly better toward the end when it was less busy. The birthday part was fun. The last part is what really bothered a lot of us, after the already not great service. It was another friend's birthday so we wanted to just do another birthday song for him at the end of the night and they told the host they'd need to buy a dessert to do this. I understand this policy if there weren't already multiple errors and the bill wasn't over $1000. I think it would have been worth putting whipped cream in a glass and singing to make us feel like we had a better experience. With the birthday they did send out 8 shots which was nice, but not requested and also only enough for half the party. I guess it was a nice gesture. The experience was just frustrating considering the overall lack of urgency or regard for simple expectations like a chair that should have been there, a straw, or to sing happy birthday for one other person.
