  My husband and I had a very difficult weekend personally speaking, so we decided to use a gift card we received for Charred. We placed an order for a sandwich and zeppoles. My husband came and picked up the order. When he got home, we realized we were given an entirely different order with the exception of the zeppoles. We called the restaurant right away and offered to bring the incorrect order back. We even said we would be willing to pay the difference if needed, as we understand that mistakes happen. However, the manager told us we would have to pay full price for a new sandwich. This was really disappointing. We were not asking for anything unreasonable—just a fair solution to an error that was not ours. We completely understand that mistakes can happen, but the response we received felt dismissive and unfair. We hope management can reconsider how situations like this are handled in the future.

  This place is a gem. Stopped by on a Monday to meet a friend for lunch. Everything was top notch: food, service, location. I’ll be back.

  I went there to eat a few weeks ago with my husband. The restaurant was very accommodating, sat us right away at the high top tables even though it was crazy busy (it was Saturday night lol). Our waitress was amazing! If Michelle is your waitress she’s great and very sweet. She was very attentive and offered us menu recommendations. I will say I was amazed at her multi tasking capability she was in the role as bartender and our waitress at the same time. We ordered dirty martinis and they were the best I’ve ever had at any restaurant on Long Island. When our apps and entree came out the dishes did not disappoint either .. definitely worth going to this restaurant and waiting if there is a wait I give this place 1000/10. I definitely will be back here again !!
