  I have been going to this store for nearly 50 years. It used to be a Grand Union store. It is our go to store and it usually has everything we need. Their produce section is a bit smaller than some stores, but well maintained. The staff there are helpful. The best part about this store is that it is located in town. I can pop in to get last minute items we need in minutes. They also have surprise sales on meats and poultry! I rely on this store for many of our needs.

  I purchased an item last evening; they clearly had a price sign below at a certain sale price. After I purchased the item it rang at original price. When I presented my receipt at customer service I was encountered by the most arrogant elderly woman named Donna G. When I showed her my proof of picture taken in my phone of sale price for a price adjustment she flat out said “that is not the same item” tried to dismiss me! When I told her it is the same item: she took immediate offense. Got rude; verbally abusive.. I reported her to store manager. Donna maybe it’s time for you to retire! Do not approach Donna G!

  Everytime I come into this store. Which is not very often. Your employees look miserable. I had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting your cashier Donna today (9/5/24) She never uttered a word to me, nor made eye contact. Nothing. The kicker was, as I was bagging my groceries and struggling to get items of the conveyor belt. She stood there and just watched. Never even pushed any items towards me. That was a first in my lifetime. I suggest management start focusing on training their staff to be more customer friendly. I'll stick to the Holbrook location. It's like night and day. Friendlier, cleaner and more focused on customer service.
