Disappointing experience at The Coat Room. We came seeking the promised dark, quiet, cool vibe for cocktails. Instead, two extremely intoxicated women at the bar were yelling, screaming on speakerphone FaceTime, and dropping things—ruining the atmosphere for everyone nearby, including a vocal group of five behind us and others who commented on it.
A polite gentleman kindly asked them to move for our seats, which was appreciated. But staff (young bartenders and giggling reservation desk girls) did nothing despite being informed. No intervention, no acknowledgment that it ruined our night and changed our view of the place.
Won’t return. Management needs to enforce a better environment.

Beautiful place with modern design that feels like it was built yesterday. The aesthetic is warm and makes you feel at home. I came here for a group brunch with 9 people and we were taken care of with exceptional service by our server Alex. The Verrazano sandwich was one of the best I've ever had.
Only downside was the espresso martini which tasted slightly off - with either too much vanilla or sugar - which was a consensus by all who ordered one.
If I'm ever back in Saratoga I would definitely consider coming back here for a cocktail and warm vibe.

Overall, I’m very disappointed in my experience at the coat room. And that disappointment is strictly based on my dinner. Service and atmosphere were really nice.
I was really craving a steak and saw that there were signature steaks on the menu. It was $72 for a filet with no sides. I had to purchase those separately. I figured for that price, I would expect a well-seasoned steak with a good crust. Instead, the meat lacked flavor and had no real sear, making it feel poorly executed. The sauce was abundant but didn’t compensate for the steak itself.
I will say that the lemon cheese pie was out of this world. That was worth it.
