  I recently stopped by the Ben & Jerry’s in Ronkonkoma and had a great experience. The shop was clean, bright, and had that fun, welcoming vibe you expect. The staff were friendly and patient, even with a bit of a line, and they were happy to offer samples so I could pick the perfect flavor. The ice cream itself was exactly what you’d hope for—rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous. Whether you’re going for a classic favorite or trying something new, they have a great variety to choose from. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re in the area and craving something sweet. Good service, great ice cream, and a relaxed atmosphere make it worth the visit. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Super creamy, rich, and packed with chunks—like they don’t hold back at all. Whether you’re into chocolate overload, something fruity, or wild mix-ins, there’s something here that’ll have you hooked after one scoop. And the portions? Worth every dollar. You’re not leaving disappointed, that’s for sure. If you’re even thinking about going—just go. It’s one of those spots that turns a regular day into something better. 10/10, no question.

  There is absolutely no reason for any sane person to ever waste their time or money at this pathetic excuse for an ice cream store. They have the nerve to charge you double what you would pay at any normal supermarket for the exact same boring ice cream you can buy anywhere else. There are no special flavors whatsoever, just the same basic stuff, but with a ridiculous markup like they are doing you some huge favor. The toppings selection is laughable, only five or six options at best. What an overwhelming variety of mediocre add-ons to choose from. You will really feel spoiled by the exciting sprinkle selection they probably pulled out of a dusty drawer. Their so-called large portion is roughly one-third the size of their standard pint. Yes, you read that correctly. You pay a premium price and walk out with a tiny thimble of disappointment, less ice cream than most people would finish in a couple of bites. But it gets even better. On a Saturday night, when you might actually expect them to be prepared, they refused to make milkshakes simply because they were not making them. The one thing that could have made this overpriced place slightly different from the supermarket, and they could not be bothered. Too busy doing absolutely nothing, apparently. I genuinely do not understand why this sad little establishment even exists. It is an insult to basic business sense and customer expectations. If you are the type of person who enjoys paying the price of two full pints just to receive one-third of a pint of average ice cream, then this is the perfect spot for you. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. This place is a complete waste of time and money, a slow-motion rip-off run by people who clearly do not care. Avoid it unless you like feeling robbed while pretending it was worth it.

  I stopped by after dinner today. It was beautiful out, 75 degrees, so everyone had the same idea: ice cream. I have to give a huge shout-out to the young woman working the front around 7 PM. She was completely swamped with orders and a massive wave of people walked in as we were heading out, but she took it like an absolute champ. I would recommend hiring another person or having at least two people onsite. Perhaps because it was a Wednesday, the level of business was unexpected, but as the weather is getting nicer, I recommend having at least a second person to help out. Five stars for her service, but she definitely deserves some backup!
