- LELeslie EnosAug 14, 20255.0We went on 8/14/25. I tried the Abruzzi. Roasted pork, sharp provolone, broccoli rabe. But I had them throw on the roasted red peppers, which normally come on the Nellie. This is usually served as a cold sub but I asked them if they would toast the entire thing. I couldn't wait to get home. When I unwrapped that bad boy, the 1st thing I noticed when I bit into it, was the warm, toasty crunch of that bread. Then I got the porky goodness of the meat. Followed by the ever so slightly garlicky flavor of the broccoli rabe. And then the sweetness of those roasted peppers. I read some negative reviews right before we came here. Almost didn't come here because of them. All I can say guys, is I am so glad we decided to try Primo Hoagies for ourselves. Oh yeah, my partner got the Italian Diablo. He loved it, as well. I couldn't decide when I first walked in. I figured I'd get something different next time I come. But I am pretty much in love with that Abruzzi!! 💟

Forwarding it is more expensive than most places but now a days most places are. If you order online its always ready right on time. Tip get a friend/relative or 2 depending on how hungry you are and order the biggest one. We have been doing this most NFL Sunday's while watching Redzone.
