  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ I’ve been to Buns Burgers (and the Saugerties location as well), and overall it’s a solid choice. It’s best described as upscale fast-food–style burgers, but with better quality ingredients. The burgers are well made, satisfying, and consistently good, and you can tell care goes into what they serve. It can feel a bit pricey for a fast-casual experience, and the vibe is more quick and casual than sit-down dining, but the quality sets it apart from typical fast food. Overall, a reliable spot when you want a good burger without a long wait, and definitely one I’d return to.

  Yummy food when I was hungry later in the day, no lunch and not time for dinner! So now I've accomplished both meals in one go! Tasty bite! And wonderful service!

  I deleted my previous 5 star review because I’m so irritated at my experience tonight. I come to this location very often and always really enjoy the food and the service. Tonight, though, I was given a burger that to me was much more rare than they typically serve, and I felt uneasy finishing it. I take burgers medium so I know what it looks like, and I’ve had these specific burgers many times. I don’t get alarmed seeing pink, but the entire thing was very dark pink and didn’t feel as hot. I decided it was probably perfectly safe to eat, but I didn’t feel comfortable with it, so I didn’t finish it. As I was leaving, I was going to order fries to go, but let the guy at the counter know that it seemed a little too pink to me. Not loudly, not rudely, just to give him a heads up so they could make sure things were being done to their own standard. His reaction was to ask me what the internal temperature was, as if I had any way of knowing, and to tell me that medium burgers always are a little pink. Looking me dead in the eyes as I held a burger that was entirely dark pink with barely any brown at all, and the texture of which did not feel right to me. His tone was dismissive and condescending, and it felt like he was being nasty to me as if I was demanding a refund or causing a scene. I very much liked this restaurant and just wanted to bring it to their attention, but ended up leaving without getting the fries I would gladly have paid for despite this, on top of paying for a burger I didn’t want to finish. If I didn’t like the place I wouldn’t have said anything and would have just not come back, but I spend a lot of time and money her, even after a friend of mine stated she got a burger that was entirely raw. I have worked food service and customer service and there is a way to appropriately hear out a customer’s concerns and reassure them without being rude or dismissive. I don’t think anything was unsafe about the food, but it was bordering on being rare if not there already, and that is not the standard they typically uphold. Neither was his attitude. If I ever come back I won’t be getting anything with meat if this is the reaction to mild concern.

  Love buns burgers! Always cooked to perfection and that sauce is bomb! Can’t add a photo because we ate it already.

  They always seem to forget to include extra sides of "Buns Sauce" when ordered, despite charging a dollar or so each. Of course when asked, the problem gets fixed immediately, no questions asked. Otherwise, amazing spot, food, and experience!
