I love food from Panera but unfortunately the two times I gave this specific location a chance I find one long hair in my food and the drive from my home is around 25m so it's not worth the whole hour getting a refund.Idk if they don't enforce hair nets or what the issue is but if your like me that alone ANNIHILATES my appetite. Maybe I'll try again in another year or so

I have always been a big fan of Panera and have consistently had great experiences, which is why this visit was so disappointing. Unfortunately, this was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at Panera, and honestly one of the worst ways I’ve ever been treated in a restaurant.
We were in town for a few days shooting photos and actually ate here twice during the week. On Monday we stopped in for lunch before kicking off a big day. I ordered soup and the other person with me ordered a sandwich. We sat down and chatted while waiting for our food, and a wonderful older woman (I didn’t catch her name) came by multiple times to check on us and make sure everything was good. She was incredibly kind and made the experience great. Because of that visit, we knew we would be back again.
We returned Tuesday evening for a late dinner after photographing all day. We were starving and wanted somewhere we could sit down and eat before getting back on the road. We arrived at 8:21 PM knowing the restaurant closed at 9 PM. We placed our order quickly, grabbed a table, and waited for our name to be called.
Our name was called at 8:50 PM, and we grabbed our food and went back to the table. As you can see from the photo above, we were hungry and ordered quite a bit of food — about $80 worth for the two of us. When we got back to the table we noticed we were given apples as sides instead of the chips we ordered, and we received only one chocolate chip cookie instead of two. Since it was close to closing time, we didn’t complain or ask for anything to be corrected. We simply started eating.
Shortly after, a woman named Emily (her name tag said “Team Lead”) walked into the dining area and spoke with another table that was finishing their meal. Out of the corner of my eye I saw her grabbing items from their table, so I assumed she was just clearing dishes.
Then she came over to our table and said, “Hello guys, I just want to let you know it is now 9:03 and we are closed. I’m going to ask you to finish up quickly and maybe use the bathroom before you head out.”
We were honestly shocked. We had just received our food minutes earlier and had spent $80, and now we were being asked to leave the dining room three minutes after closing.
She then told us she would grab containers so we could take the food with us, even though we never asked for them. She came back with a box, a soup cup, and a small paper bag and suggested we just put the sandwich in the bag and leave.
Both of us work in the food industry as servers, and we actually work at the same restaurant. The closing time of a restaurant is when the kitchen stops serving food — not when staff immediately start asking paying customers to leave, especially customers who just received their food.
I’m not sure if this is how employees are trained to close the restaurant or if this particular employee acted on her own, but either way it was not a good way to treat customers who frequently stop by for a meal.
Because of this experience, I unfortunately don’t see myself returning to this location. I’d rather make the extra 20-minute drive to another Panera where customers aren’t rushed out three minutes after closing.
