  had an amazing experience working with Arturo Montoya, the Store Manager at Krispy Kreme Astoria. As the Parent Association President at the Northwell School of Health Sciences, I recently organized a fundraiser, and this was my first time doing one. Arturo made the entire process incredibly easy. He was patient, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Every order was accurate, organized, and ready exactly as promised. He even helped me load everything, which made a huge difference given the size of the order. As you can see from the photo, this was a large pickup, and everything was handled perfectly. Because of his support, our fundraiser was a success, and I am already planning to work with Krispy Kreme Astoria again in the future. Thank you, Arturo, for your outstanding service — you are truly appreciated!

  The donuts are good as Krispy Kreme always are. Unfortunately the service assured I will never go there again. One employee had to interupt his phone conversation to help customers. Unprofessional but he was by far the friendlier of the two. The other one....what an attitude. For no reason. Immediate and complete with a eye rolln look away, dump of the donuts on the counter. I won't be going back. There is another donut placea block away. Even if it isn't as good I'd rather go there.

  I had a disappointing experience at this store tonight. I placed an online order and called around 6:15 PM to confirm that it would be ready for pickup. The store closes at 9:00 PM. The female staff who answered the phone sounded impatient and hung up before I could even finish my last sentence, which was simply to say, “Thank you, I will be there before 9:00.” I arrived at the store around 8:30 PM. Half of the lights were already turned off and a female staff member was mopping the floor near the counter where I was supposed to pick up my order. The male staff member who handed me my order slid/threw the boxes across the counter rather abruptly, which made me feel uncomfortable. Because of that, I decided to check the three boxes before leaving. While I was checking my order, the female staff member repeatedly asked me to move away from the counter in a very impolite and intimidating tone. I responded that the store was not closed yet and that I only needed a moment to check my order. However, she continued arguing with me. I want to mention that I’ve had many positive experiences with other staff members during the daytime, and I often order from this store to treat my children’s classmates and friends for birthdays. Unfortunately, tonight’s experience was very disappointing and made me reconsider whether I will continue coming here in the future. I hope the management can look into the customer service during evening hours.

  This place constantly closes way before closing time. I came around 6-7pm three different occasions and they were closed. One day I saw employees just hanging around using their phones and said it was closed. Sucks. I really liked this place.

  First time coming to this Krispy Kreme location, and now I understand why it’s always empty. The employee was on a personal phone call on speaker while taking my order. When I politely asked about exchanging a doughnut that looked smaller than the others, he insisted they’re all the same size, then pulled the rack aggressively and slammed it on the counter with an attitude. It was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. I’m pregnant and had a craving, so this was especially disappointing. I left without purchasing anything. Please do better with customer service.
