  My doctor sent a prescription directly to the pharmacy. When I went to pick it up, I was initially told by a staff member that no prescription was on file. After I followed up, she then stated that there was a prescription, but that my insurance did not cover the medication because it is available over the counter. The staff member, a woman with gray-dyed hair, did not provide her name; due to how uncomfortable and embarrassed I felt during the interaction, I did not ask. When I asked a follow-up question so that I could locate and purchase the correct medication, her response was rude and dismissive. I was made to feel as though I was inconveniencing her simply for wanting to obtain the medication my doctor prescribed. When she stated that the prescription could be filled but that I would still need to pay for it, the comment was delivered in a noticeably snarky and condescending manner. Payment was never my concern; my concern was ensuring the accuracy of my medication and understanding exactly what I was being given. I left feeling uncomfortable and discouraged from asking reasonable questions. A pharmacy should be a place where patients feel supported and able to ask questions without being made to feel belittled.

  Have never had issues getting meds filled in a timely manner. Staff are nice. But the new AI phone thingy is absolutely atrocious. It makes what used to be a simple phone call about ten times longer. Really wish there was an extension number I could dial to avoid the AI altogether.

  I understand that Kinney Drugs can get busy, but this has become a repeated issue. My medication was prescribed, and I even gave them an extra hour before going in. I was told they never received it and that it might not have been called in at all. I contacted urgent care to double-check, and they confirmed it was definitely sent. I went back 30 minutes later and was still told to wait another 30 minutes. This isn’t the first time this has happened. It feels like it’s a constant problem. It’s really frustrating to deal with, especially when medications are time-sensitive.

  Awesome people work in the pharmacy! Stopped by and was immediately greeted with great smiles and kindness. So friendly, helpful, and professional. You can tell they really care.
