I’ve given this ACME location more chances than I probably should have, mainly because it’s close to my home and convenient. But after what I’ve experienced repeatedly with outdated products, I can’t keep overlooking the pattern. Today was the final straw. While shopping, we found multiple items that were expired by a month or more. I didn’t even take photos of everything because there were just too many examples. I let the manager know, but instead of concern or urgency, the reaction felt dismissive, and that was disappointing. This isn’t the first time I’ve run into problems here. A few months ago, I purchased a gallon jug of salsa from the Spanish section. Only after opening it at home did I realize it was almost ten years out of date. The salsa was completely black inside and ruined the meal I was cooking. When I mentioned it at the store, the only response I received was laughter and a comment about how “that’s funny.” It didn’t feel funny at all. Another time, I got sick after eating lobster ravioli that I later discovered was five months past its expiration date. That should never happen in a grocery store where customers trust the food to be fresh and safe. I’ve tried to keep shopping here out of convenience, but after today — and after being laughed at rather than taken seriously — I can’t return. Food safety is not a joke, and customers deserve better. As much as I wanted to keep supporting this store, this will be my last visit.

It's not as nice looking aesthetically compared to other locations, but it has everything other ACME's have....it just seems a little smaller. No other complaints really...the staff seemed friendly and helpful. Not much else to say...

It is not uncommon that food is expired on the shelves. There is zero common sense used when they shop for pickup orders. Produce is often rotten. All of that can be fixed by management and staff. They can't change that everything is ridiculously overpriced, but it is. Pleasant Valley needs a better grocery store. Edit: changed to 1 star because this grocery store is just absolutely terrible
