Hear me out on this one, I’m still trying to figure out how they do this… I never really liked sweet potato… and I always insisted zucchini was gross… Brown rice noodles? Unnecessary, I’ve only had regular noodles… Kimchi? Isn’t that fermented cabbage? Ummm, no thanks… and the only time I’d eat mushrooms is on a burger or with a steak… Until I tried the Spicy Korean BBQ Bowl (with brown rice noodles instead of quinoa). Somehow, they take all that stuff I don’t like, put it all together in a bowl with chicken and a Korean BBQ sauce, and it became something I’d eat every day if I wasn’t unemployed and broke. It’s delicious and filling, without being super heavy or greasy like most delicious things left in this world. Nicole is a joy behind the counter, and I’m not just saying that because she’s the one that made the food suggestion the first time I went there to try the place. The consistency is spot on, its always the same amount of each component whenever I get one, always fresh, and it LOOKS as good as it tastes, which is rare to find. That means a well run kitchen 👍 Lastly, the store is always clean and bright. My background is in food service, so cleanliness or lack thereof is always the first thing I notice when I walk through the door. If you’re in the Plainview area, and you want food that won’t leave you feeling guilty afterwards like a big greasy cheeseburger would, I implore you to go to Organic Krush and give it a shot. If I can honestly say I love it, then they’re doing it right.

I order from here once in a while when I’m in the area. The salads/ grain bowls are good but a bit pricey. It’s a hit or miss with some of the menu items, as sometimes the chicken will be dryer than other times, or the quinoa will be underdone. Ordering online is confusing sometimes because you can order the same thing in different ways and the price changes. I think the price is different when you order in store too, which I haven’t done in a while. For a spot catering to a busy lunch crowd, the online ordering platform should not be so faulty.

Food is decent but overpriced. Ordered a salad and added salmon and avocado. Came out to $37 and the salmon was the size of my pinky, the avocado was the size of sauce container. I don’t mind paying extra for clean ingredients, but to pay that much and get a tiny piece of protein like this is ridiculous. There are other items on their menu that are overpriced as well. I stopped ordering from them a while back but thought to give them another try. I think the protein size was even worse than before. I probably will not order from them again.

We had the Food Lovers ball, it was ok, perhaps a bit more of the main ingredients and less quinoa would have made it more balanced; we added grilled chicken, not great, maybe marinating it a little bit would help. Staff is friendly, spacious place good atmosphere.
