  Wow! Came here on a whim and boy were we surprised! Cocktails were on point, beer was nice, cold, and refreshing. The food... the food!!! We had the classic fried pickles and the prezel bites. Let's start with the pickles: tempera battered light bites of goodness that melt in your mouth, lets not forget the aoli dip (omg!). The prezel bites: soft pillows with buttery beer cheese (oh my!). Grilled chicken sandwich: flavorful, not dry, enough to fill you but not make you feel full. The pulled pork sandwich: holy macaroni! the smokey, BBQ, spicy (not heat, spice) goodness with a coleslaw slaw cruch that leaves you thankful for smokers. The service was friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

  Really great food. The portions are large and the flavor is on point. Service was exceptional, personable and attentive. Truly a gem. Can't rate it highly enough.

  Hands down our favorite burger in Peekskill. We literally brag to our friends from other towns about how good the Up the River Burger is and how lucky we are to have Whiskey River right in the middle of town. Keep up the good work guys
