  Comforting to see a store with handbaskets. Well-run store right before a big storm! Way to go Hannafords of Pawling! Great heirloom tomato varietals and selection, my ancestors would be proud. Good muffins. Friendly cashiers and staff.

  Great value pricing and lovely staff. They are helpful and provide good customer service. Store is kept clean and orderly. I don't use the pharmacy but I've heard from others that they extend good care for the customers.

  I had a bad experience with a cashier whose name was Frank. He seemed to have a really negative attitude, not wanting to do his job . My nephew picked out a Pamelo fruit , when we got up to frank he told us that the fruit wasn’t in the computer put it to the side. When he finished scanning the rest of our groceries he picked it up and told us he couldn’t find it in the computer. There was a long silence and then he asked us to go back and get one with a tag on it (which should be done by a customer service rep behind the service desk or one of the other cashiers who were just standing at the register with no customers. ) finally he asked for some help from a service leader after some minutes. When it was scanned in, he asked us if we needed bags for our 20 items. We said yes and then he proceeded to throw our items Into the bag. When he was done he went back behind the register and handed the receipt with no words said .
