  I've been here about six times and it's a beautiful bakery. The ladies behind the counter have always been lovely. The pastries are delicious. I spoke to the owner and he said that he uses his father's original recipes and then adds his own creative touches to the baked goods. This really shines through in the huge selection and many, many wonderful flavors available. If an occasional pastry isn't quite as fabulous as you might like, give something else a try. This is a very difficult business and they told me that everything is baked on the premises. I want them to stay in Oakdale for many years because this place is a treasure. Great job there everyone!

  I can’t believe I live so close to Oakdale and had never been here before. I went in looking for an Italian cheesecake, fully expecting I’d need to place an order ahead like most local bakeries—but not here. They had it ready, fresh, and absolutely perfect. From the moment I walked in, the place was buzzing—in the best way. There’s a steady flow of people, staff moving quickly, and a case full of incredible pastries that immediately catches your eye. That kind of energy tells you everything you need to know—you’re in the right place. The Italian cheesecake was phenomenal—rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. Truly one of the best I’ve had. What started as a quick stop turned into discovering a new go-to spot. This place is a dream for anyone who loves authentic Italian pastries. I’ll definitely be back.

  My husband and I moved from Astoria Queens to Long Island in 2020 and have been searching for a great Italian bakery ever since. We have tried so many spots over the last few years, but none of them felt or tasted like what we were used to until now. We went this afternoon and were so impressed. The ambiance was lovely and everything was incredibly fresh. The pastries were delicious and the coffee was so yummy as well. On top of the food, the service was truly top notch. We are so happy to finally have a local go-to that reminds us of our favorite spots back in Queens. We will definitely be back, especially for our Easter bread and my birthday cake! 🫶🏼
