  I hate to be negative because I typically LOVE this location. However, they have SEVERELY dropped the ball since beginning to remodel. For example, they have been out of Newman's Own Magherita Pizza for more than three weeks. Their receipts claim that they have lowered the prices on "over 1000 items." However, they've also significantly raised the price on multiple items as well, including Altoids (now over $4 a tin there; those are on par with CVS prices, not what you would expect to pay at a pharmacy. Price Chopper/Market 32 sells them for just over half that price. This place has some incredible staff/employees, which is why it is difficult to leave a poor review, and I legitimately like the people that work there and enjoy seeing them on a regular basis. However, staffing numbers have significantly and noticeably dropped in recent trips as they try to force people into self-checkout. I refuse to be complicit in your attempt to automate jobs and cut down on staff. I will shop elsewhere if I'm unable to check out with an actual cashier. Please fix it; I actually like shopping at that location when they have product and employees. When they are at their best, this is an incredible store with incredible people. However they have completely dropped the ball during the remodel process. Still rooting for them to succeed and get back to what they used to be.

  Again.. Produce is god awful in quality. Tried to buy celery last 3 visits. They were out of stock

  I generally find the most consistent pricing and best meat and fish at Hannaford, relative to the other grocery chains. The selection is good and most of the store brands products are a good value.
