Artistic Taste Restaurant in Newburgh, New York is an absolute gem. I celebrated my birthday here with a group of about eight people, and every single person loved the food. Not one disappointment—only plans to return.
The Jamaican fusion cuisine is outstanding—bold, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The food was so good that I actually went back the very next day to order more for Sunday dinner. That alone says everything.
Andre, the owner and chef, is incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can truly feel his passion in both the food and the atmosphere. The staff is just as wonderful—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
This is a fantastic spot for brunch, and in the summer they offer a great outdoor seating area. Between the exceptional food, warm hospitality, and inviting vibe, this place absolutely deserves five stars. Highly recommended

This might be one of the best/most memorable places I’ve been to in a LONG time. we came up to newburgh for a weekend trip and was recommended this place by some locals. needless to say, we came 2 times over 2 days. our waitress, Diane, was incredible and gave us impeccable recommendations. Everything was cooked perfectly and the combination of flavors made it feel like we were eating at a Michelin star restaurant. Please open a location on nyc🙏🏼
We went for lunch around 12:30 on Sunday. We had the vegetarian pasta and the fried chicken with French toast. Both were good. We were nearing the end of our meal, but clearly still had food on our plates, when a waitress came up and asked to remove our plates. We still our forks in our hands and were clearly eating. We said no. Literally, a minute later, our waiter came up and asked to remove our plates - we were still eating. I had to insist that he let us finish our meal. He didn’t leave right away. I told him very pointedly „go away.“ It was surreal. The restaurant wasn’t busy. Half the tables were empty. I would be hesitant about going there again - it’s not worth the hassle.
