Came in on a Monday near the end of the night, understanding the kitchen was closing soon. Waited a short moment to order, but the moment Carlos realized we were there he took very good care of us and quickly got drinks in our hands and our food ordered. He made sure we had everything we needed and was so sweet and charming throughout. Great service, delicious food and a fun, yet relaxing outdoor dining atmosphere.

I had an absolutely impeccable experience at the restaurant. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with very attentive service.
The food was simply exceptional, beautifully presented and delicious.
But the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the service. Carlos was extraordinary, attentive, friendly, and extremely professional. He was very patient with our English, which made communication much easier and made us feel far more comfortable throughout the entire experience.
He made sure everything was perfect at all times, with a light and very welcoming energy.
Karla also deserves all the praise, equally kind, efficient, and always with a smile, contributing to making the experience even more special.
And to make everything even more memorable, they even sang happy birthday to my boyfriend, creating a unique and very emotional moment that we will cherish.
It’s rare to find service so well aligned with the excellence of the cuisine. We left truly delighted and looking forward to coming back.
Congratulations to the entire team, especially Carlos and Karla, for providing such an impeccable evening.
I had such a great experience at The Wilson!
From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere stood out warm, lively, and the perfect balance between trendy and comfortable. It’s the kind of spot where you can relax but still feel like you’re somewhere special.
The food? Honestly, everything was good. Every dish I tried was flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. No misses at all, which is rare.
What really made the experience perfect was Cris and Monica were amazing attentive, friendly, and genuinely made me feel taken care of the whole time. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and it didn’t go unnoticed.
Overall, between the great food, beautiful atmosphere, and standout service, I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend! ✨
Highly recommend!! I was here for the first time in March for an early lunch with a couple out-of-town friends. I’m a longtime New Yorker and come to the wholesale plant district every few months but somehow missed this “gold nugget” until I did a little online research and booked it. We loved it! Food was delicious and reasonably priced (two of us had the healthy falafel bowl and the other, fish & chips). Outstanding service. I loved the spacious seating where tables aren’t scrunched together and we could actually hear each other talk (rare in NYC), plus its modern/minimalist “plant district” ambiance. I noted that they have a terrific venue downstairs with bar for large group get togethers (e.g. reunions, special occasions). I didn’t know beforehand but also terrific it’s dog friendly (with rules, of course). Highly recommend for both NYers and visitors. This is a keeper. My thanks to their entire team.

I arrived at The Wilson at 10:00 PM, a full hour before their 11:00 PM closing time. Despite several tables still being served, I was met with a complete lack of hospitality. We only wanted to have a cup of coffee, yet we were treated as a nuisance.
Initially, a waitress was professional and ready to seat us, but then a person identifying himself as "Manny" Flores (later confirmed as Manuel) abruptly intervened. He was incredibly arrogant, flatly denying us service with the false claim that they were already closed.
This experience was unacceptable for the following reasons:
1.- Disruption of Staff Harmony: It was unprofessional to see a manager publicly undermine and contradict his own staff. His imposition created an awkward and tense atmosphere, showing a total lack of leadership and respect for his team’s workflow.
2.- Power Trip: Having a "position" does not grant a higher hierarchical level over a customer. His condescending attitude was purely an exercise of ego.
3.- Arbitrary Service: Denying a simple coffee while others are still being served is discriminatory and inconsistent with professional standards.
4.- Identity & Attitude: As a fellow Mexican, it was saddening to see someone in a leadership position acting with superiority, seemingly trying to distance himself from his own roots through a pretentious attitude.
Suggestion for The Wilson: You need to train "Manny" on basic respect and team management. This behavior completely contradicts the hospitality standards this establishment claims to uphold. I will not be returning.
