If you haven’t been to The Gyro Project yet… what are you doing ? From the moment you walk in, the team goes above and beyond in a way that feels genuine, not forced. You’re not just another order they actually care, they remember you, they make sure everything is perfect. That kind of energy is rare in NYC, especially in fast-casual.
And the food? Next level. Everything tastes fresh like you can tell it’s not sitting around or rushed. The flavors are bold, clean, and perfectly balanced. Whether it’s the gyros, bowls, or sides, every bite hits. Honestly, they’re not just good they’re revolutionizing the industry. They’ve figured out how to combine quality, speed, and real hospitality, and it shows.
This is the kind of place that turns into your go-to real quick. 10/10.
Beautiful modern Greek quick service concept. I dined in , in an environment that took me back to Greece , including the music and the welcoming service. I had the beef gyro which was definitely one of the best not only in NYC but in Greece too. The pitta was excellent too and tasted fresh . The price was fair and every time I am by the area I would definitely stop for another beef gyro. This place is also ideal for Times Square tourists including groups, who are familiar with Greek food and want to have a high quality quick meal on a budget .

If you’re looking for a healthy meal, delicious Mediterranean food, and the sounds of Greek music, tzatziki, and pita-this is the perfect place for you.
We were delighted when we accidentally discovered Gyro Project.
The food is absolutely delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable.
The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating, they fulfilled all my requests and prepared everything exactly the way I wanted. They genuinely made my day because I finally had a proper breakfast.
A big thank you to the staff for their service, kindness, smiles, and amazing food.
A place you simply must visit!

Okay I just came in to grab a quick lunch but I’m gonna have to make this a regular spot. There’s all these cute tables up front and extra seating in the back so you can actually sit and enjoy your food and not feel like you’re being run over. I was just gonna get the chicken souvlaki bowl to go (GIANT portions btw definitely two meals in one) but i ended up sitting & having a KILLER vanilla oat latte too. The vibes were perf to get a little work done. Stayed long enough that I caved for a froyo w sour cherries that I’m definitely coming back for again, and I want to try the freddo cappuccino too. I never would have expected such good coffee in a random greek spot in this part of midtown! Friendly staff, good music, super fast if you need to grab n go. I’m celiac so I didn’t get to have a gyro - would be really cool if they could start offering GF pita??? Would also super appreciate more allergen info on the menu in general so I’m not guessing what sauces etc are GF.
