I LOVED THIS PLACE!! The staff truly couldn’t be nicer. The chef was so engaging as were the other employees. The space was also so nice and the food was obviously incredible. This menu included barracuda which is hard to get and ive never had before! I really liked it. My other favorites were the scallop and the king salmon with foi gras. Again, i couldn’t recommend this spot more. Truly amazing and great vibes!!
What an experience!! This was super delicious !! This 15 Course Omakase was too notch . Our Chef Victor , was so knowledgeable about each Sushi and James (I think that’ was his name)was super attentive. Would definitely be back again. One of the best in town.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a pretty mixed experience. The food itself was solid—nothing standout, but enjoyable enough for an omakase spot, especially considering it’s still new.
Unfortunately, the service really took away from the experience. We had originally reserved a table but opted to sit at the bar and were told we could do so for about an hour, which we were completely fine with. For most of the meal, things felt okay, but toward the end we started to feel rushed. We even proactively offered to move early to be accommodating, but were ignored when we said this directly. Instead, the message was relayed to us indirectly through staff, which felt odd and a bit dismissive.
What stood out most was the owner/host’s demeanor, which came across as unwelcoming and at times unprofessional. He was audibly rushing the chef during the omakase, which disrupted the flow and felt uncomfortable as guests. At one point, when another customer asked a question about the menu, he mistakenly directed a response at us and said, “Do you know what omakase is???” in a noticeably condescending tone—which felt especially out of place given the setting.
I understand the restaurant is new and likely still working through operational kinks, but the overall service experience felt disorganized and lacking in basic hospitality. With some improvement on the front-of-house side, this place could be much better, but as it stands, the service unfortunately overshadowed the food.

Had an amazing dinner at Sozo last night. We opted for the omakase course, and there honestly wasn’t a single dish I didn’t enjoy. Every flavor combination felt intentional and thoughtfully executed. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
I even had the chance to chat with one of the owners when I arrived—he was so warm and down-to-earth I had not realized that they just opened at the start of this month!
I’d highly recommend it for a night out with friends or a date night. I’ll definitely be back this summer if not sooner. Excited to see how this place continues to grow!
