Nobu Downtown is situated in the heart of Manhattan’s Financial District, offering a striking subterranean dining experience, as well as an exclusive sake table and a beautiful private event space. Descend the stairs to the dining room to indulge in Nobu signatures including Black Cod Miso and Yellowtail Jalapeno; and new menu items including Grilled Octopus with Chocolo Salsa, Sizzling Uni Yaki, and Bigeye Tuna Tataki with Truffle Eryngii Mushrooms. Add innovative Omakase and seasonal off-the-menu dishes menus created at the 13-seat sushi bar and open kitchen, and become immersed in the next era of Nobu’s genre-defining new style Japanese cuisine.
I have to say, I just love Nobu. Doesn’t matter which location you go to, you know you’re gonna have amazing food, great service and just an awesome time — this location wasn’t an exception.
The food is to die for and every single person of the staff is super welcoming and making you feel so comfortable, not making you feel any kind of way when asking for an explanation how to eat a dish for example.

Visited Nobu Downtown, def lives up to the name. Upscale but still warm, with a great lounge upstairs and a more intimate dining room downstairs.
Food was clean, refined, and super fresh. The black cod with miso is a must. We also tried an off-menu pasta…. very fusion, not traditional, but interesting.

Took a client here for lunch and you guys really need to sort your service out. We had a client lunch which obviously you don't want to spend the whole day at and the waitress clearly forgot our dish...we pointed it out and she ran over to the sushi chef and ran back with it immediately. She said it was just made then but what she didn't know is we had seen it sitting there for 15 minutes. Overall disappointed

Not easy to find, at all. Im a native New Yorker and I had no clue!
The people all around, had no clue either!
We found it, nestled between these glorious and majestic 30 foot pillars!
It's a beautiful restaurant, I like it better than Nobu 57.
They had a live DJ, which I truly enjoy. The sound system was absolutely perfect. We vibed and grooved, yet could hold a conversation. There is no dancing here.
It was my wife's 47th birthday celebration dinner and was she impressed! The food, the drinks, the service and the ambiance was just right! And I mean- really!
Directly, on the same block is a beautiful view of The Freedom Tower in all its glory!
Great for photos! I definitely recommend Nobu Downtown, if you can find it!

Service and atmosphere was great - I got the tuna tacos and salmon with rice. The tacos were quite good! The salmon was mediocre taste wise, perhaps a bit too sweet, but the portion size was filling. Would I say the food is worth the money? Not really, it is overpriced. But the atmosphere is nice.
That being, said the drinks were fantastic - I got a lychee mango. It was slightly expensive but was well worth it, with a very reasonable size, and tasted amazing.
