  House salad with steak was delicious and fresh! Steak was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Loved the touch of microgreens on the salad! I do wish it was a bit more exciting as the flavors listed on the menu did not pop as mich as I would have liked but delicious and would recommend!

  Jack’s Wife Freda feels more like a New York brunch ritual than just a restaurant. The place is always busy, but in a good way. Light, open, a bit chaotic, with people coming in for a quick coffee or staying longer over brunch. The food is simple, fresh, and well done. Nothing overly complicated, just good ingredients put together in a way that works. It’s one of those spots you don’t necessarily go to for one specific dish, but for the overall experience. If you’re in New York and want that classic brunch atmosphere, this is an easy choice.

  Premetto che i camerieri sono molto gentili e le vibe del locale sono altrettanto carine, però purtroppo devo confessare che ho mangiato una delle peggiori carni della mia vita. Lo steak au poivre venduto come speciale del fine settimana è di un sapore terribile, inzuppato in una salsa dal gusto terrificante, e soprattutto pieno ma PIENO di pepe in maniera eccessiva. Prezzo troppo alto per una carne di così bassa qualità. Peccato!

  Veníamos de Chelsea y subimos de la estación de metro y nos encontramos con este local. No esperamos nada para que nos atiendan. Llegamos, nos sentamos, nos atendieron, nos sirvieron agua, pedimos dos laterales y a los 5 minutos los teníamos en la mesa. Tomamos el exquisito café y nos fuimos. Muy rápidos, muy atentos y muy serviciales. La luminosidad del lugar, el ambiente amplio y muy lindo son siempre garantía de pasar un buen momento. Super recomendable este hermoso rincón del Soho.

  We found this place while shopping in SOHO. The welcome was warm from the beginning and everyone was great. Food was very good and elevated as expected for NYC. What was shocking was $3 for a piece of cheese on the burger and grilled chicken and even more was the $7 for an iced tea. No mention of a charge for iced tea refill, so imagine when I got the bill and it was another $7 for my refill. ABSOLUTELY unreal even for NYC prices. When I asked the server, who was very nice, I got a nonchalant we don’t have free refills. Nowhere did I see this on the menu and I would expect a restaurant to warn customers before refilling on something like this. I get no free refills on a bottled or canned soda, but this was PLAIN old ice tea. Ridiculous to gouge people like this at such a great restaurant.
