- ALAdam Lasnik4 days ago4.0Friendly and attentive staff (especially Rachel). Many tasty dishes, but some were kinda a miss. Drink (Kentucky Mule) was great, especially for Happy Hour, and other Happy Hour dish (crispy rice salmon) was stellar. Re the filet mignon... it came with broccolini, which is just not a great pairing, especially since the steak was a bit on the dry side; would have benefited more from something creamy/carby (potato, polenta, rice, etc.)
- IIIpekMar 23, 20265.0This place is the perfect blend of excellent quality food, service, and ambiance. I came here for lunch with my mom on her last day while visiting NYC. We had such a positive experience thanks to the wonderful staff that it felt like a special occasion we were celebrating. Our waiter was very attentive and thoughtful. He went above and beyond to accommodate my mom's dietary restrictions. The restaurant manager came out at one point to walk around the tables to check in with the patrons and ask how we were doing. The menu has excellent options, and include dishes that are both healthy and tasty, which is becoming increasingly rare. We ordered the salmon and several vegetable dishes, followed by the affogato. The ingredients were all fresh and of good quality. The restaurant itself is spacious, the table seats are comfortable and you don't feel like you are crammed in a shoebox. The stylistic choices that went into the interior design and concept were clearly very thoughtfully planned and well-executed. And the place is quiet enough so you can have a conversation and actually hear what the other person at the table is saying. Overall fantastic, no notes.
