  If it was possible to leave more stars I would ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Did a private dinner for 9 guys last night and had hands down the best experience I’ve ever had in NYC, period. They check every box, food, vibe, attention to detail service level, etc etc etc. SJ took care of us and immediately greeted our party as if we were best friends from the moment we walked into the restaurant. I mean I’ve dined at a lot of great steakhouses and restaurants in my life and this experience was next level. Rarely am I think impressed but GS fa exceeded expectations and that’s despite already being familiar with them, having dined at their Las Vegas location. This place is hands down the best steakhouse in NYC right now no exaggeration!

  This restaurant is very well-known in Las Vegas. Before our trip to NYC, we learned that it had opened here as well. Therefore, booking was difficult, but we managed to secure a reservation. Honestly, we weren't expecting such a good experience. A beautiful interior, wonderful service (special mention to the fantastic Nicole), and incredible food. The lobster and steaks made our evening. The Caesar salad (tableside presentation) was definitely one of the best we've ever had. Everything here was simply wonderful, and this restaurant alone will make us want to return to NYC soon.

  Absolutely sensational! Every time we go this place just gets better and better! The food is outstanding--perfectly prepared and presented, from the fantastic table side caesar to the great steaks--heck, even the fish is awesome! And the fries, well..there ought to be a law against them. It's only surpassed by the great service, from the warm welcome at the door, every single person is nice, friendly, helpful, and knows what they're doing--it's a classic old-school steakhouse with a truly modern vibe. It really doesn't get any better!

  Excellent food, excellent service, high quality steak. It's definitely got the Vegas vibe vs a high end NYC steakhouse, which I think was a pretty cool experience. The bone in ribeye was exceptional. Prime rib was very good, definitely not the most tender I've had, but flavor was great. Bone marrow app was good, although for how big the bone is, not as much marrow as you'd think. The sauce it came with however, my goodness, I would come back just for that. Would not get either of the table side desserts again. Banana foster and Cherry Jubilee were both super underwhelming in my opinion, absolutely not worth the money. Overall though, delicious steaks and sides, enjoyed it!

  I’ve now been to the GS NYC 3x. The first time for a celebration dinner with my husband (who also loves it there) and then twice in 2 consecutive nights due to a private room work event followed by a dinner with friends. Every single time—the food, the service, the entire staff and vibe have been 12/10. I booked the private room for a 13 person client dinner—they’d upgraded us to the Showgirl room so we’d have more space. Marco and the team took such incredible care of us that I am still getting thank you emails from my clients. SJ made the entire booking process completely seamless and wonderful. My dinner the following night with my friends was also memorable—not just because of the amazing food, but because SJ welcomed us back like family and Marco actually so sweetly made sure he came to find me to give me a big hug. It was just so lovely and thoughtful. Everyone is wonderful, the history of the place is awesome (and they’re all ready to tell you anything you’d like to know), the decor is gorgeous, and the food is simply excellent. I love this place. I once loved the old Otto restaurant that was there before, but this is a MAJOR upgrade. There will definitely be more work events, friend dinners, and special occasions to come there for us.
