  A cute cafe with beautiful pastries that taste just as good as they look. The pastries were both visually appealing and delicious. The space inside isn’t very large, but there is seating available if you want to sit down and enjoy your coffee and dessert. A lovely spot to stop by for a sweet treat.

  Since Pierre Herme has no locations in NYC that I’m aware of Laduree is the next best option. I enjoy their Eugenie’s which are basically chocolate covered cookies with a thin layer of fruit or crème between the chocolate & cookie depending on the flavor you choose. They do change the flavors from time to time. Of course since I’ve been on a caramel kick lately they didn’t offer caramel or chocolate during my most recent visit. Since I don’t always like some of their more unique flavors I decided to play it safe & go with vanilla, red berry, pineapple & passion fruit. Thankfully I enjoyed all of these flavors. For my caramel fix I went with a large macaron which was delicious. They have a small area if you want to enjoy a dessert with some coffee at this location. In addition to the Eugenie’s & macarons they serve a small assortment of pastries. You can purchase gift boxes in various colors perfect for get well gifts, secretary’s day or just because lol. A gift box of a dozen Eugenie’s is currently $52.00. Though I didn’t purchase any small macarons during this visit I believe they were $3.00 each. The large is currently $8.00

  This place has tables but doesn’t have any restrooms and everything is pretty expensive

  From the moment I walked in I was blown away by the amount of pastries and of course the ambiance of the place! I was greeted right away by their staff, who were very polite and helpful towards me. I highly recommend this bakery!

  La Durée sur Madison Avenue est très mignon avec son petit salon royale avec Marie-Antoinette et Louis XVI en peinture… J’ai pris le St Honoré rose & raspberry + 2 macarons et un thé mille et une nuit.. la pâtisserie excellente avec sa purée de framboise au centre. la seule chose où je suis déçu et pour avoir bosser sur celui des Champs-Élysées au 75, c’est que le thé n’est pas servi dans la porcelaine et sa théière..mais dans un gobelet large.. alors que j’étais sur place… ça casse le charme royale….
