  We walked in to tacombi, the atmosphere was amazing and staff we were accommodating and attentive. We got the fish tacos, birria tacos and quesadillas that were amazing! The chicken was probably my least favourite but still good. We are definitely recommending this spot to anyone travelling to New York as it’s a great gem. Thank you to all the staff and kitchen for a wonderful experience

  Tacombi hooked it up, super smooth QR checkout, amazing tacos, and they even gave us a discount which was clutch. Everything tasted perfect, especially the Baja fish crispy taco, that one is a must try. Honestly one of the best quick eats in NYC, highly recommend.

  Came here for the Taco Tuesday BOGO taco deal and everything was absolutely delicious! I have a dairy allergy and the staff were very accommodating and provide all sauces and cheese on the side which allowed for sharing. Gio, the general manager was so welcoming and kind and the rest of the staff were attentive and quick. I definitely will be coming back soon!

  I am extremely disappointed by the way I was treated during my recent visit. From the moment we approached, the server, Patricio, was immediately rude - and this was not even close to closing time. The restaurant still had a full hour left and several tables were seated, yet we were denied service for anything other than to-go. After making it clear that we were expected to leave, he then said we could dine in - but only if we were "quick." That was incredibly disrespectful. As a paying customer, being told we could only stay if l rushed my meal, despite there being a full hour before closing, felt unwelcoming. What made the situation even more upsetting was seeing another customer walk in afterward and be warmly welcomed and served without hesitation. The inconsistency was glaring and made the experience feel even more unfair. I have never felt so dismissed and disrespected at a restaurant. As a customer, I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. I left feeling disappointed, uncomfortable, and unsure of what to think about the standards of service. This experience was truly unacceptable.

  Was in the area for a small stay-cation when I saw that this place was conveniently just across my hotel. Walked in Sunday morning excited to see that they had barbacoa as a special. My partner and I order the crispy fish tacos, barbacoa tacos and carne asada tacos with churros to start. The carne asada tacos were incredible. Comes with strips of grilled onion and jalapenos which adds great flavor with a bit of spice. The meat was great and not dry at all. The crispy fish tacos were even better with a great mix of fresh salad mix and a creamy lime mayo sauce. The best above all was the barbacoa tacos. Super rich in flavor and super moist. Came with an incredible sauce on the side. The churros and chocolate were also delicious but not to sweet. Definitely worth eating if youre in the area.
