- AKAnthony KingJan 2, 20261.0The food at this location is average at best, but compared to all the other locations in Midtown, this one skimps the most on actually filling the ingredients. Even the bigger items like the 5 layer burrito are barely any thicker than a regular soft taco here, while all the other nearby locations stuff them to the brim. The service is decent, though nothing special, but depends entirely on which manager is working. It can range from ok to bad and you never know what to expect. But the worst issue at this location currently, and the reason I wrote this review in the first place, is that they’ve had a broken door hinge for months now, which wasn’t an issue before, but now that it’s winter, it’s a major problem. Essentially EVERY time someone walks in or out, the door stays propped open unless they turn around and close it themselves, which no one ever does because people are oblivious. This makes it absolutely unbearable to sit and eat inside for any length of time, because it’s absolutely FREEZING, especially because the lobby is so small to begin with. The fact that management knew about this issue since at least the early fall and ignored it is concerning, because they had ample time to get it repaired before it cooled down. I’m just giving a forewarning to anyone that visits this location, get your food to go, or ideally, go to one of the 3 other Taco Bells within a 5 minute radius. It will be more comfortable, and the food will be better.
