- KGKevin La Gatta2 days ago5.0Had reservations on a Friday night, got seated in a private room in the back. To start off, we got the crab cakes, steak toast and bacon. All were excellent and the crab cakes were really a highlight. For dinner, went with the porterhouse. The filet and strip were phenomenal. Loved the crust. Had the 1000 layer goose fat potatoes on the side; very rich and great texture. Dessert wise, we tried the 24 layer cake, cheesecake and baked Alaska. I’m not a huge dessert person, but really enjoyed all of them. Whole staff were very polite and attentive. One of the best steakhouse experiences I’ve had.

We almost asked the waitress if it was a mistake, it looked so wrong, and they dumped a ridiculous amount of them on top of the salad, so many freaken onions. There are way better steakhouses in nyc.
- OLOneseok Lee5 days ago5.0다른 뉴욕스테이크 맛집과 달리 버터범벅이 아니라 드라이하고 담백하게 스테이크가 서빙된다. 마늘이 같이 나오는 것도 새롭다. 뉴욕 스트립은 좋았으나 포터하우스는 부분부분 오버쿡이 되어 너무 건조해서 아쉬웠다. 이쯤되니 뉴욕에 살지 않는 여행자라면 특유의 리치함을 느낄수 있는 볼프강이나 피터루거같은 전형적인 뉴욕 스테이크 레스토랑을 경험하는게 더 좋을것 같은 생각은 들었다. 실내가 매우 어둡고 올드머니 시절의 분위기와 서비스는 훌륭했다. 디저트는 생각보다 거대하니 여러개 시키면 낭패일 수도 있다.
- JHJason Hunt5 days ago5.0My first time at Striphouse and it was great! First, we had a great, comfy booth (Not sure how we landed that because there were only two of us, but we’ll take it!). Ordered the 8oz filet, was seasoned and cooked to perfection (Medium Rare). We had the Mac and cheese as a side which was good, but it could have been hotter. Cocktails were perfect and we concluded the evening with that AMAZING 24-layer chocolate cake! Overall, great experience and will definitely be back!

Got the NY strip..now the best steak I've had in my life was at keens a few years ago where we got the fillet and the 21 aged rib eye, and this wasn't on that level. It is still very very good though. The crust on this is spectacular, the meat was nice but not melt in your mouth tender. But perhaps thats the cut. Next time I'll try a closer cut and redo this review! In either case - this is a seriously good steak.
