The restaurant will stay true to what pizza fans love about New York-style pies—the crunch and the chew of the crust, the classic red sauce, the cheese pull—but the menu will stretch far beyond the standards. While one table shares a Caesar salad, some pepperoni pies and IPAs on draft, another will dive into Hoagie Toasts, a mushroom and muenster pizza inspired by a sandwich from the Old Town Bar, and soft serve with a hot-honey shell. All pizzas will be 12 inches, a break from tradition but one that will give everyone a chance to indulge in more than one slice. On tap at the bar: beer, of course, but also Lambrusco and sparkling Negronis, along with a rotating list of craft cocktails.
Customers praised the pizza for its delicious flavors, unique toppings, and excellent crust texture.

The pizzas are banging! The Metro is a good go-to! The Al Pastor is an interesting one and very tasty! The dough was crispy with chew. Savored every slice and dipped that crust in the dips!
The tiny chocolate chip cookies were a perfect sweet to finish it all off.
Will definitely be back for more!

Nothing fancy but all solid
Food - meatball sliders, Al pastor pizza. Good actual taco flavor, nice crust
Drinks - Englishman and A Lil R&R, both decent. We’d just come from Clemente Bar before this and call me crazy but I preferred the Englishman here
Staff is awesome and super friendly

Stretch Pizza has very flavorful pizzas. This is the work of the celebrated Chef Wylie DuFresne. Some time ago, the restaurant started serving slices all week till 5 pm. Having had a tasty slice at their branch in The Hugh, I came here to see the variety. Now this is the first time that I ordered two slices. The first was the plain which was top notch. Thin crust, flaky and tender till the last bite. Then I ordered the Sicilian with pepperoni. I counted twenty slices on this rectangular pizza. The pepperoni comes from a pasture raised farm and as I thoughtfully chewed I could taste the umami flavor of this cured salami. Each bite was ambrosial. Team Stretch made my lunch memorable. Jose at the bar who took my order conversed with me. He was both professional and amiable. Having eaten here a few times since they opened, I now look forward to having slices. The next one is the mushroom pesto although I wish the Nellie would also be a slice - one day!

The pepperoni slices were superb!
Wylie’s dough really hits the mark!
Reminds me of the crust at Difara’s pizza way out in Brooklyn on the Q!
I am going say that this may just be the perfect ny pepperoni slice!
It’s a better version of Joe’s pizza.
Surprised there is not a line for slices as there was none at 12:30pm on thursday. Perhaps it was just timing.
The restaurant design is a bit confusing though. Is this a bar? why are the pizza ovens in the back out of site? I just find the whole layout to not line up with my idea of a pizza joint. But perhaps thats me!

This is a very casual sit down place much like an Applebees but with better food. Won’t hurt your wallet, either.
The bar is nice and big and somewhat comfortable with good foot rests but seats are stools with no back rests so not too good to relax here after a tiring day. But really bright, fun ambiance to experience with friends.
I was hoping with a name called Stretch Pizza, pizza crust wud be super thin but no dice since it’s only moderately thin ala usual street slice. In fact, other than it’s a 12 inch pie, this very much feels and tastes like your average street pizza with moderately thin, crispy crust, moderate amount of cheese, and pretty good sauce.
I prefer lots of good cheese that I have to fight with cheese with each bite but no dice here.
I normally finish 12 inch pie easily but struggling here since crust not super thin the way I like it. Also, those rims not light or airy either.
Not sure I’ll be back. It’s very mid and definitely better than Pizza Hut nearby but it’s just not amazing. As an avid pizza aficionado looking for city’s best pizza it’s a umm, eh for me. I also walked many blocks to try this when best pizza in city are mostly in downtown area.
