Unlike traditional burritos, these do not include rice. Pollo Asado: This burrito was filled with grilled chicken and strips of poblano peppers. Also included is a cup of salsa verde, which gave it a nice kick. Carne Asada: This burrito may look small in size, but it was packed with protein and flavor. The employee unintentionally gave me green sauce instead of red sauce, but it was still finger lickin’ good. What really caught my eye on both burritos was the line of char marks from the grill. The dining section is limited, so I recommend taking the order to go. The breakfast burrito, pollo asado, and frijoles con queso. We made the mistake of not checking our order before getting home and realized they forgot our frijoles con queso burrito. Huge bummer since that was the one I was most excited to try, but that’s on us for not checking. The tortilla itself on the burrito is great. Super soft and really fresh. That’s about the only thing we enjoyed. The pollo asado and breakfast burritos were fine. We’ve had better at other places in the area. The sauce is ok. I think overall it was just fine, nothing that really wowed us.
