  I went to this restaurant on the 15th of February and they failed to disclose that there was a private event and sat us at the bar instead of just turning away our service. The bar was way too small for eating and the private event was loud and rambunctious. People were surrounding us trying to order drinks at the bar and a woman spilled her drink on me! The food was the only redeeming quality but that doesn’t matter because I got food poisoning the day after. I ordered the djon djon rice with fried fish. Avoid this place at all costs!

  I ordered all my food at once and 1/2 appetizers came out. I had to ask where the second was when they came with 1/2 of the entrees. They never put in the second appetizer which were seafood fritters, but tasted nothing like seafood. I ordered 2 entrees with macaroni dish to split with husband and we never received our macaroni just the 2 entrees. At that point I just asked for the check and didn’t tip.

  If you are looking for excellent authentic Haitian food and drinks this is the place, it also has some moderate options if you go with people that are less adventurous. The Kremes or Kreyol Punch are great drinks to kick off your culinary adventure. Kreyol chicken fell right off the bone, the goat was cooked to perfection and Djon Djon rice was great especially mixed with some pikliz.
