    Mahogany Room dinner for 16- visiting NYC for an annual meeting and needed a place for a special celebration dinner. This was not the best. While the service was excellent, the food very good, unfortunately the room was extremely small (long and narrow) for our party. Considering the size, acoustics for conversation were poor. It was very challenging for speeches and toasts as the only space to stand was the opening where waiters needed to access the room. Upon arrival-I mentioned concerns and asked for my contact, she was not available. Unimpressed. Requested a manager- no one came and identified themself as such. Extremely unimpressed. Considering the restaurants supposed reputation, cost/value proposition—I expected a better banquet space. Disappointing.

    🎉 Celebrated my fiancé’s 37th birthday at Mastro’s Steakhouse last night, and WOW… what an experience! 🥩✨ From start to finish, our server Tiffany was AMAZING. 🙌 She made the night feel so special, attentive, friendly, and absolutely on top of everything. Drinks? ✅ Perfect. Food recommendations? ✅ Nailed it. Birthday vibes? ✅ She made it unforgettable. The steaks were melt-in-your-mouth perfection, sides were delicious, and the seafood? So fresh. Add in the live music and that upscale NYC steakhouse ambiance… honestly, it doesn’t get better than this. 🎶🥂 If you’re looking for incredible food and service that goes above and beyond, go to Mastro’s — and ask for Tiffany. Trust me, she’s the real MVP of the night! 💫

    Absolutely unacceptable. This establishment denied my family entry after we clearly explained that a family member has a crippling disability. The manager was rude, dismissive, and had the nerve to say, “We’re sorry for your disability, but we can’t service you.” That is blatant discrimination, and it should outrage anyone reading this. No one should ever be treated this way for a disability. Save your money and take it anywhere else. Thankfully, we found La Baia Italian, where we were treated with respect and the food was excellent. Support businesses that treat people like humans—this one does not.

    This is my third time coming to this steakhouse, so I decided to come the day after Valentine’s Day. I was expecting an amazing romantic dinner, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The restaurant food Quality really let me down. When our food arrived, my steak was Way undercook and I Ordered medium Bone in ribeye for $91 . The mashed potatoes , Brussels sprouts was lukewarm and tasted bland , like they had been sitting out for hours. The lobster mac & cheese only has like four pieces of lobster in it. Our server seemed overwhelmed As expected the day after Valentine’s Day, so which I didn’t mind. To make things worse, My girlfriend‘s lamb chop’s for $80 was super undercooked. For such an expensive Valentine’s Day dinner, the overall experience was not worth it at all. I tried reaching out to the restaurant and they just kept giving me the run around. The general manager said he spoke to me, which is a lie. I never spoke to him ever. This remind me of the horrible experience, I had over at STK steakhouse. Smh This is why I don’t like to going out around major holidays. The full quality and service is just not the same.

    I just want to start this review by saying, my fiancé and I love Mastros. We had our first date here and have been frequenting this establishment ever since. Never experienced a bad experience here until tonight. My fiance made reservations for Valentine’s Day 2 weeks prior and they still dropped the ball. Upon arrival we were amongst 50 other guest who had the same reservation time slot as us. We were still patient being that it was Valentine’s Day. We finally was seated downstairs after 15mins. When the server came over he instantly apologized for the chaos and started bad mouthing the management team about how poorly they were seating guest. The drinks and appetizers were the best thing because it looked and tasted how it was suppose to. The Mac and cheese looked like it wasn’t baked, my steak was raw and not medium well. Crab fried rice was crunchy and not fluffy. I ordered garlic mashed potatoes and they gave us French fries. They said they want to go home and ran out of mashed potatoes but instead of asking what we wanted they just sent out fries. Highly disappointed being that I frequent this place often and was looking forward to this night for weeks. Definitely avoid going here on a night such as Valentine’s Day!
