What an amazing donut shop. It’s very big and in the corner on the Broadway, they were also giving the free donuts we got 12 donuts they are expensive, but they are very light and yummy.

Whenever I travel to New York, I take them to Krispy Kreme so we can eat at the one in Times Square. This time we had a terrible experience. We were served by a rude and stupid cashier who completely ruined the experience. When our order was delivered, another employee had prepared the orders incorrectly, got upset, checked the tickets and realized she was wrong — but still tried to insist she was right. It’s a shame to see something that used to be so good change so much.

I'm in New York Times Square visiting from Tennessee, just coming from a great play, and saw the "Hot Donuts Now" Sign. The holy Grail, where I come from. "Yay!" I said to my cousin, "I'm getting a hot dozen". Nothing better to cap off a wonderful night in New York. I couldn't find a way to order them hot at the kiosk, so I went to the counter to specifically ask for a dozen hot glazed donuts. What I received $23 later were cold, stale, slimy glazed donuts. I don't like to complain at restaurants but worked up the courage to go back to the counter and ask for hot ones. He mumbled with no concern whatsoever that the "Hot Donuts Now" sign is just their logo and means absolutely nothing. I left the donuts on the counter after one bite. They were nasty.
I've loved Krispy Kreme all my life and root for them every time a new franchise opens somewhere. There's nothing better in my opinion than a hot glazed Krispy Kreme doughnut. There's nothing worse, though, than a stale one. I'm finding increasingly that, even in the stores where the Hot Donuts Now sign means what it says, they're sending out stale or microwaved donuts. I'm afraid it's going to bring them down. KK, if you're listening, please let "Hot" mean hot!
