- CSchristopher stokes4 days ago2.0There are neighborhood community places and there are just businesses. This place obviously is a business. Typical franchise. The scenario of a father going in to buy his toddler a treet, having his hands full and then having his toddler spill his coffee onto the floor after a long day goes one of two ways. In a place like Chipped Cup, or Five Flies, a local community space....they help you clean it up, understand your situation and make you a new one on the house just to help you out. At Dunkin, the franchise...this one especially...the look at you and ring you in for another one. Now I get it....business is business but often kindness and community are more important. As a double small business owner in the community....I know what I would do. It would be kindness over coldness. Shop small. Shop community. America doesn't always have to run on Dunkin'
