  I visited the Chipotle at 601 8th Ave in New York City and had an extremely disappointing experience with both portion size and customer service. I ordered a steak burrito and was immediately struck by how little steak was put in compared with what I typically receive at other Chipotle locations in the city.When I politely asked for just a little more steak, the employee preparing my food refused and moved on, even though there was clearly room in the tortilla and no indication that I was asking for anything excessive. Once the burrito was wrapped, it was noticeably small – far smaller than the standard burrito size I’m used to at other Chipotles, which are generally known for generous, customizable portions. I brought this up with another staff member and asked if they truly felt that such a tiny burrito was worth the full price being charged. Instead of trying to understand my concern or offer any solution, I was told that “that’s what you put, so that’s the size,” essentially placing the blame back on me for their skimpy portion. This response felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially given that Chipotle has publicly acknowledged customer complaints about inconsistent and undersized portions and has claimed it aims for “consistent and generous portions” across its restaurants.I frequent Chipotle and have eaten at multiple locations around New York, and my burritos are almost always substantially larger than what I was served here, even when I order the same ingredients. The portion I received at this 8th Avenue location was closer to the “tiny burritos” many customers have complained about online than the “burritos the size of your head” Chipotle was once known for.Overall, this visit left me feeling shortchanged and disrespected. Between the minimal steak, the unusually small burrito, and the staff’s refusal to address a reasonable concern, I cannot recommend the 601 8th Ave Chipotle and will be avoiding this location in the future, especially when other nearby Chipotles in Manhattan provide better portions and more respectful service for the same price .

  뉴욕에서 그나마 사먹어볼만 한 가격 중 하나인 치폴레 근데 걍 이거 넣을까? 하는 거에 아무 생각없이 yes했다가 추가금 내는 수가 있음 매장은 넓고 쾌적하다 맛도 있고 양도 짱 많음 무려 두 끼 정도를 해결할 수 있다

  Dissatisfied location. Rice was severly undercooked and there were many people either sleeping on a table without ordering anything or people eating outside food. Trash bins were overflowing with trash. There were only two staffs working so it was obvious they cant pay attention to these.

  The food here was great, but the customer service was extremely disappointing. I was incorrectly charged for guacamole, and instead of fixing it right away, the staff — including the manager — were rude and dismissive. They made me wait until after I finished my meal to issue the refund, and not a single apology was offered for the mistake. Great food, but the service really needs serious improvement.
