  I’ve been a regular at the Chipotle on 854 8th Ave in NYC for years, but after what happened today (February 26, 2026 at 12:45 PM) I will never step foot in this location again and I’m warning everyone else to stay away. I went in alone during my lunch break to grab two chicken bowls for myself and another elementary school staff member back at school. I specifically asked for white rice first. The server said they only had brown, so I said fine and ordered both bowls with brown rice. Then they didn’t have enough brown rice, so the cook went to the back and came out with one brown bowl and one white bowl. Since white rice was my original request, I politely asked if I could have the white one. The cook immediately snapped, “No, that’s for the people after you.” I pointed out I was first in line and it was my original order. His response? “You are not getting the white rice because I said so.” I asked to speak to a manager completely ignored. I asked the server why I couldn’t have what I originally wanted when the white rice was right there. After some back and forth she finally gave me the white rice… and while she was doing it the cook started aggressively staring at me with a nasty glare and loudly muttering “they shouldn’t have gave you shit” right in front of everyone. This was beyond rude it was unprofessional, illogical, and straight-up bullying from a staff member. No apology, no manager, just attitude and aggression. As a longtime customer and school staff member trying to get a quick lunch, I was treated like I was beneath them. Chipotle you need to investigate the cook and server at the 854 8th Ave store immediately. This kind of behavior has no place in your restaurants. Zero stars if I could. Never again.

  Got a salad delivered which arrived with no protein, no dressing, and the tortilla thrown into a ball. No wonder Chipotle is struggling to keep customers this is wild.

  I ordered my typical half chicken/half sofritas bowl via delivery and got the most horrible food poisoning ever!!! Had to be taken to the Emergency room to be treated, DO NOT GO TO THIS CHIPOTLE if you value your health!!! NOT food safe.

  Horrible Chipotle location, walked in at 10:50pm all to be told that the business was closed and that there was only one person to serve the food, but he couldn’t because his hands were dirty. He told me his name was Jeffrey Martinez. I told him that he could’ve locked the door so nobody would come in and prevent this uncomfortable situation. He seemed to be quite argumentative.
