- EEEraFeb 4, 20261.0The Chipotle app caused me to lose money. I was in Lower Manhattan, but the app automatically kept my pickup location set to Brooklyn from an order I placed a week earlier. There was no warning, no distance alert, nothing to indicate I was ordering far away. I tried to cancel immediately by phone and got nowhere. That should not happen. An app this big should clearly warn users before checkout if the pickup location is miles away. To make things worse, when I ordered again and went to the Upper East Side location, the employee at pickup was rude, had an attitude, and didn’t even acknowledge me with a hello or goodbye. Between the app’s poor design, lack of cancellation support, lost money, and bad in-store service, this was a really frustrating experience. Chipotle needs to seriously fix its app and customer service.

I showed up almost an hour early for an interview that was scheduled for 2 PM and the manager told me I could not sit inside and wait when the store wasn’t even full and to to wait outside. Right before I left, I noticed that there was a rat running across the floor and it looked like the trash had not been taken out for days and the floor was dirty. So I will not be returning nor interviewing in the future.

The employee asked another coworker, who then asked someone else, and both of them just walked to the back like they didn’t hear me. They completely ignored my question and continued with their tasks while I stood there waiting. That level of disregard is extremely inconsiderate—especially when it’s 12:20 p.m., lunchtime, freezing outside, and I’m simply trying to get a hot meal. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but being ignored over a simple question doesn’t sit right with me. I’m sure this isn’t the first time it has happened, and it definitely leaves a bad impression.
