  Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. is a fun, family-friendly choice for a meal in Times Square, especially if you're a fan of the Forrest Gump theme. I had a fantastic experience at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.! Service was good and the food was absolutely delicious, and the frozen drinks were the perfect refreshing pairing for the meal. The shrimp scampi pasta I got was seasoned perfectly, and the garlic shrimp appetizer was good as well. Definitely my new go to when in NY!

  Attention à votre facture. Vous signez un ticket à un prix, vous serez prélevé de 15$ de plus sans aucune raison car sur le ticket il est noté TAX incluse avec pourboire donné etc. Je regrette donc les pourboires donnés et ma venue. PAS CORRECT. La nourriture n’a rien d’exceptionnel c’est du snacking bien placé sur l’allée principale, et tarif assez haut pour ce que c’est. Bien mieux aux alentours

  Siamo stati al Bubba Gump di New York e siamo rimasti entusiasti! Abbiamo provato i gamberi fritti e il fish and chips: una delle fritture migliori che abbia mai mangiato, croccante e saporita. Il locale è ampio, con tanti tavoli, e il servizio è veloce e cortese. All’interno c’è anche uno store pieno di gadget ispirati al film Forrest Gump. Il ristorante nasce dall’idea di portare sul tavolo dei clienti l’atmosfera e i piatti preferiti dei protagonisti del celebre film, un’esperienza che unisce gusto e divertimento cinematografico.

  We waited 45 minutes just to be seated. I mentioned it was our anniversary. Once seated, no one came to our table for over 30 minutes. No greeting, no menus, and no explanation of how service works. We tried calling several servers and were ignored. When a server finally came, we were told we were supposed to signal for service, but no one had ever explained this to us. Since no menus were given, I had to look at the menu on my phone. I ordered a frozen strawberry margarita with Patron and a salted rim. After almost 20 minutes, it arrived incorrect regular margarita on the rocks, It was remade and arrived wrong again, so I canceled it after waiting nearly 45 minutes in total for a drink that was never made correctly. After more than one hour, we still had not received any food. A server then told us that our order ticket had been “lost”, but that the food was supposedly already prepared and they just need to confirm our order!!! We were asked to repeat the order and told it would be coming out shortly. However, after another 15–20 minutes, no food was ever served. After 1 hour and 40 minutes total, we decided to leave. I asked to speak to the manager. She apologized and said the food would be ready in 10 more minutes, but at that point we had already waited far too long. When I asked where to file a formal complaint, I was told to “look it up online.” Extremely poor service, no organization, and no professionalism from both the servers and management. Our anniversary was completely ruined.

  This was one of my favorite restaurants that I tried to visit every time I got to New York City. Yes, it is Forrest Gump-related and you'd better review the movie before the visit so that you understand what it is all about - the references are everywhere there! Starting with photos on the walls to license plates with Run Forrest, Run! and Stop Forrest, Stop. You just use one of these plates if you want waiters to come by or to stop and get you something. The service is absolutely adorable - everyone is so positive and helpful. I was one alone and the waiter just asked me some questions, some small talk - so that I don't feel alone -) And, definitely, the food, which is absolutely impeccable. This is the best restaurant with shrimp meals I have ever been to. Location is also great - the very downtown of NYC. Nothing is more central in the city than Times Square -) So, a great restaurant with great food, great service and great location. Five stars on all fronts!
