Food is okay/average. It's a quick convenient meal in Times Square and you can get a table quick. It's a fun restaurant with nice views of times square. Went for an early dinner before a play so there wasn't many people at the restaurant. Service needs improvement. We didn't get our drinks until after our food arrived and we had to ask for them when they brought our food also had to wait for silverware after our food was delivered. They have a sign if you need something from the server had it flipped to get a refill for waters but server did not come back until after we finished our food.

If i could give a 10 star review i would. We came here for our one year anniversary and we had the best experience. We were visiting and we had Joshua as our server and honestly amazing is an understatement. He is so helpful, outgoing, friendly, the list goes on. He is awesome!! We would definitely come back he made everything sooo special! He brought us anniversary dessert and even played an anniversary song for us

Judging by the other reviews, our experience must be an outlier, but that doesn't mean I can dismiss it. When we arrived, we were carrying an empty cup from a Broadway play we just saw, and a box with two desserts in it we just purchased across the street. We were in the city for the play and had an hour and a half before we needed to leave, so we just purchased them and walked over. Our parking garage was around the corner, so it made more sense at the time. We immediately were spoken to like we planned to eat an entire entree from another restaurant and were told we cannot eat outside food. That's fine, it was a gift to someone at home anyway. When we went upstairs behind another couple, we were all directed where to stand, and we followed. The next host that walked by spoke sternly at us that we weren't standing in the right place, although we were literally just guided there by staff. So we walked around, and the other couple scoffed that they were that concerned with just the 4 of us there. I agreed. When it came time to be sat, we were guided to the most uncomfortable of high chairs by the same gentleman. My partner gets vertigo and may fall. We asked if there was a table or booth with shorter chairs, which we were told we could wait a half hour for one. I pointed to the other side of the restaurant where there were a couple tables between other groups of people. He said that section is closed and walked away. This already wasn't a good start.
Then a woman walks up to the table after we've been there for about ten minutes, and just asks "Are you ready?" I have never been to a Bubba Shrimp before, but at every other establishment, you at least get a "Hi, I'm *waiter* what can I get you for drinks to get started?" Or some similar phrase. I'm thrown off, but I ask if she's getting food or drinks, and she says she'll do both. I don't know her name or maybe I'd mention her here. In fact, we had probably at least 4 different people come to the table.
Now that's enough of the bad. It may not seem deserving of a two-star to some, that's fine. It just didn't match my bare minimum expectations of a chain restaurant. The waiters were friendly, one gentleman stopped dead in his tracks to get us a drink refill, and no one after the first guy seemed to be flustered with being at work. The food was alright, but nothing I would write about. I'd actually tell most of my friends to try it if they want, but low expectations.
But yeah, it was a cool experience to actually go to one of these, but it was unfortunately lacking. Also, it was not nearly as busy as one would expect a restaurant in Times Square.
