I’m a daily customer at Dunkin’ and usually have a great experience, which is why I felt the need to share what happened this morning.
I accidentally placed my mobile order at the wrong location (ordered from Broadway while I was at Amsterdam). I fully understand that the mistake was mine, but I stopped by the Amsterdam store to ask if there was anything they could do to help or accommodate the situation.
Unfortunately, the lady at the register (who is often there) immediately told me “no, it’s a different store,” and walked away. The interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily rude.
I then walked to the Broadway location (in the cold) to pick up my order, and while there, I asked if anything could have been done at the other store. I was told that they could have helped.
I want to be clear—I understand policies exist, and I take responsibility for my mistake. However, customer service is about how you handle situations like this. A little effort or even a polite explanation would have gone a long way.
I visit the Amsterdam location every day, and when other staff members are there, especially the other bright eyed lady and the young man, the experience is always positive and helpful. Now thanks to this I will take my money back to Starbucks. Although I will pay more, I have never had a bad experience with their service!
Out of all the Dunkin Donuts I’ve visited, this one takes the cake for WORST customer service. Not only did they give me the wrong order due to their negligence, but they also refused to give me the correct or offer me a refund. This was just the straw that broke the camel’s back.
Aside from this, it also takes ages just to place an in-person order because they're so short-staffed. Then, on top the wait the employees have the nerve to RUSH customers as they're ordering. Just today the employee walked away from me AS I WAS TALKING. The employees at this Dunkin Donuts are inattentive, rude, negligent, and disrespectful. This is definitely my last time going to this Dunkin Donuts and I will NOT miss it. I'm sure the one 4 blocks away from it has better service anyway.

Extremely slow I placed an order online just before they opened and me having the only order. I was still waiting 20 minutes
I placed a pickup order through Uber Eats and the payment was completed successfully.
However, when I arrived at the store, the staff repeatedly told me that they do not accept Uber Eats pickup orders and refused to prepare or hand over the order.
I explained that the order had already been paid for, but they continued to say they don’t handle pickups and asked me to leave. As a result, I was unable to receive my order.
This was very frustrating, especially since the order was accepted and paid for in the app. If this location does not support Uber Eats pickup, that should be clearly communicated to avoid wasting customers’ time.
