Avoid Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse — genuinely awful.
The service was a joke: slow, disorganised, and completely incompetent, yet still shamelessly pushing for tips. The food was just as bad. The steak was badly cooked and overrated, and the rest looked greasy, sloppy, and thrown together with zero care — nowhere near what you’d expect for the price.
It honestly felt like a rip-off.
Then you have Hawksmoor, which completely exposes how bad this place is. Hawksmoor nails everything — proper service, incredible steaks, and real quality. It’s not even a comparison.
Del Frisco’s is a complete waste of money.

Booked this restaurant for my birthday dinner before a Broadway show. We were greeted immediately by the Hosts. They wished me happy birthday and were very kind. We were sat at a half circle table that overlooked the street & Radio City. Daniel was our server. I was really hoping they were able to make a Pina Colada as it’s our favorite mixed drinks. They stated they weren’t. Offered the margaritas that were on special but unfortunately I didn’t like tequila. I would have liked some other rum based recommendations. Ended up getting Coke instead. I didn’t really appreciate some of the remarks our server made. He made a brother joke toward my husband thinking we were brother and sister. It didn’t sit well with me. We ordered steaks while my parents split one. As we were ordering, I ordered a side and my husband told him his meal and then the server didn’t ask him about a side. Just kind of skipped over him. Knowing now how big the sides are, that would make sense to share it. We didn’t know how big the sides were and an explanation on how the sides are shareable would have been helpful. Steaks were cooked very well and sides tasted great! Rolls were amazing! They also brought out a cube of cheesecake that tasted really good. I wouldn’t probably come back due to service.

Have reviewed before..this is by far my favorite steak house..have been to just about every "high end" place in the area and have been disappointed by every one but 1 other that I've been to twice...this is the cream of the crop though from food to service to location to atmosphere (although it can get a little loud sometimes)..don't be worried about ordering something else besides steak here either..the pork chops, lamb chops and fish are fantastic too.

You have a lot of options when it comes to steak restaurants in NYC (and US in general). But for consistently great experiences, well cooked meat and some fantastic sides, for me Delfrisco Double Eagle is a winner.
Ribeye (off the bone - I don't agree on the bone adds flavor), and a side of fries and lobster mac and cheese is just a great and filling meal. (I don't typically care for lobster, nor mac and cheese, but the combo here just works well).
You get the usual big portions here, but every bite is food. You'll enjoy the meal.

Excellent steakhouse. Big place that is able to accomodate alot of people along with a nice bar. My wife and I go here for special occasions as the food and drinks are definitely expensive but well worth it.
We get the bacon appetizer, very nice hearty and chunky piece with plenty of fat that is cooked perfectly that it melts. The glaze is good but can be a little spicy with the pepper and peppercorns used.
For the main, the Filet Mignon and Prime Rib (pictured) are excellent. Filet is just a nice piece and the prime rib has excellent melt in your mouth marbling, especially along the edges.
We get the creamed corn and mashed potatoes as sides. The are so good, I would love them as meals by themselves.
Cocktails are expensive so we stick with a bottle of wine from their extensive selection, better value in our opinion.
