  This was such a great brunch location. There are Bluestones all throughout the city, but this one is the one worth visiting. Aside from the beautiful interior, the food was superb and the service was incredible. Abel made us feel so welcome and checked in with us often, despite the busy nature of the establishment.

  Abel, our server, was really nice and entertaining. When it was time to pack up our food, he put on gloves and packed it for us. He made funny jokes that supplemented an already enjoyable experience. I particularly liked how the positioning of our table allowed us to fluidly interact with the groups of people who sat near us. The food was good. It was not out of this world, but it was well plated and served its purpose.

  ⚠️ WARNING: DO NOT EAT HERE! ⚠️ In September 2025, we went to Church of Heavenly Rest Café expecting a nice meal. The menu looked appealing with its Australian touch, and the place seemed clean. We ordered sandwiches for the whole family. What happened next was a nightmare. Minutes after eating, I felt sick. Hours later, I was violently vomiting and had uncontrollable diarrhea. Within three hours, I fainted and collapsed—my husband had to catch me, or I could have seriously injured my head. The food was clearly contaminated and dangerous. The only good thing is the location. This café should not be open unless a responsible company takes over, paying attention to food safety and quality. This was the worst dining experience of my life. I strongly warn everyone: stay away from this place!

  This location is so unique. I thought waiting time was long but we only waited about 10-15 mins to seat down inside of old church cafe. Coffee was amazing and salad and yogurt's portion was perfect. We enjoyed so much. Want to go back after museum sights. Because this location is very closed from museums.

  Came in to walk in and grab a coffee and were greeted by the nastiest attitude from the host that had to yell at us “I’m helping them right now” - talking about another party waiting to be seated. We weren’t looking to get seated - just to grab takeout at the counter. Oh well.
