  Popped into Bluestone Lane for a quick flat white and, while service at the counter was prompt, the overall experience left me quite disappointed. Firstly, the pricing caught me off guard. Once tax was added, the cost felt quite high for what was a fairly standard coffee. I was also surprised to be prompted to tip before receiving either the service or the product. In my view, tipping should reflect the quality of the experience, so being asked upfront didn’t sit quite right. After waiting a few minutes, I was served by a friendly barista, which I appreciated. However, the coffee itself was underwhelming. What was labelled as a flat white didn’t resemble one in the traditional sense—typically, I’d expect a smaller cup with a double shot of espresso and a well-balanced milk ratio. Instead, it was served in a larger cup, filled mostly with milk, and lacked the strong, rich coffee flavour you’d expect. It was more like a lukewarm, milky drink than a proper flat white. Overall, while the staff were pleasant, the combination of high price and disappointing quality means it’s not somewhere I’d be keen to return to in a hurry.

  Stumbled upon this coffee shop while in NYC and was pleasantly surprised to find a gluten-free treat, the Lamington! Very yummy and paired well with my coffee! Very friendly staff as well!

  I visited Bluestone Lane Bryant Park Coffee Shop and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, the bright and inviting atmosphere made me feel welcome. I tried a coffee and a pastry, and both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful, making the visit even more enjoyable. It’s a great spot to relax, grab a quick bite, or enjoy a coffee, and I’ll definitely return next time I’m in New York.

  We had the most wonderful time at Bluestone. We brought four adults and four kids there after the NYC have marathon and it was perfect. Annie and Nick were wonderful to us. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back.
