    I'm visiting NYC for Christmas and was walking by Bluestone; it had a crowd and looked like it had good drink options, so I ordered a mocha. I do regret it - the service was slow, which didn't bother me much, but the mocha lacked any chocolate flavor and when I asked them to add a bit more chocolate syrup, the main female barista made a face at us and scolded the other male barista in front of us who gave us a bit more mocha syrup. Very poor service. Then I looked up the shop online and saw the ratings. Makes sense

    This was a disappointing experience. The menu on the wall had pricing listed. However, the register rang up an item for a dollar more. When I called attention to it, the person taking my order, Sofia, said, “I think that’s the tax.” When I pointed out that tax had not been added yet, she was detached and said she doesn’t handle that. She did not make any attempt to make the price match. I know It’s only a dollar, and it’s the principle of the matter. It’s technically against the law to show one price and charge another. Bluestone Lane, you need to do better. Fix the digital menu board to match the digital order taker, and train Sofia how to make it right for the next person who notices.
