It’s been always very unpleasant experience when he’s around especially to a nice loyal customer like myself. I don’t think I will go back to shop at this location as long as they have thistype of people working there. Overall bad energy. I gave 2 stars because of that rude manager. I would give 0 star if it was just for him. Managers really should be friendly, accommodating, and HELPFUL especially to customers.

While I was checking out, I overheard an employee named Robert, who handles carts, speaking with a self-checkout attendant. He said that this generation of kids is doomed, that they don’t know anything, and that most of them are going to be gay. He went on to call gay people “the worst kind of people” and said the country would be in trouble if gay people were leading. His comments made me very uncomfortable and do not reflect the values I expect from Stop & Shop. I asked to speak with the store manager, but they were not available. I spoke with someone in customer service and the assistant store manager. Please let me know whether Stop & Shop permits this type of behavior, as it will affect my decision to continue shopping at this location.
